Chapter 12

The Great One ran into another area. He was holding the key given to him by Sabre that would unlock all the cells. But right when he entered, he gasped. There were a bunch of people there locked in the cells. The Great One looked around shocked. There were hundreds of people there. Including children. The Great One was horrified and devastated seeing all this. He slowly started walking down the hallway. He looked at all the cells shocked. Some of the people there were frightened by him. Others were staring at him with pleading looks. The Great One stopped. He looked over at a certain cell. All the children were locked in a single cell. The Great One slowly approached the cell. He stared at all the kids there. Most of them were scared of him and hiding behind each other. Some of the kids had red marks on their faces that made it obvious they had been abused. One kid slowly approached The Great One. The kid reached up and touched The Great One's hand. The Great One stared at him for a moment. Then he gasped and backed away. He looked around at all the cells sadly. Tears were forming in his eyes. His heart broke seeing how many innocent people Hex had captured. The Great One looked down and felt bad for how he used to hurt innocent people too. The Great One stared at the ground. Even thought he used to attack and kill innocent people in the past, he felt bad now for everything after his relationship with Aiden and some other Steves he had met. But then he heard a small voice say, "Is... Is he here to save us?" The Great One looked over. The children were all staring at him. Some had hopeful expressions on their face. "Please..." One of them said. The Great One stared at them sadly. He walked over. He put the key in the lock and unlocked the cell. He pulled the cell door open. The kids all stared at him. The Great One's wings folded behind his back. He looked down sadly. "I'm sorry you all had to go through this..." He whispers. He felt guilty even though everyone in this dungeon was captured by Hex. The Great One stared at the ground sadly. One kid stepped out and hugged him. The Great One gasped. The kids then all hugged him. He looked at them all shocked. The kids all looked relieved and felt safe near him. The Great One teared up again. He turned his head and stared at everyone else who was captured. A lot of the people there we're staring at him shocked. Tears fell from The Great One's eyes seeing everyone captured. He couldn't take seeing everyone captured. He looked down sadly. The kids were still hugging him. The Great One still wasn't very used to this even though he had a good relationship with Aiden before. The Great One was a bit happy to no longer be treated as a monster like he was before but it still was a bit new to him. The Great One looked at the key again. "I need to do this fast..." He mutters. He quickly started running around the room and unlocking the rest of the cells. Everyone watched him.

After several minutes, The Great One unlocked the last cell and everyone was out of them. The Great One stepped forward. "I'll open a portal for you all to escape to the village in our world. Our job here isn't done yet but I don't want any of you getting hurt again." He says. He turned and opened a portal. Everyone started walking through it. The Great One stayed back to make sure everyone went through it. Once everybody went through, The Great One quickly closed the portal. He breathed a sigh of relief. But then, a bullet came flying towards him. The Great One gasped and dodged it just in time. He looked over. Hex was there pointing a gun at him. The Great One gasped. But then he growled angrily. He roared and quickly jumped at Hex attacking him. The Great One tried to rip Hex open. Hex roared and kicked him off. The Great One grunted as the two fought. They kept fighting until finally, Hex managed to overpower him. Hex held The Great One in a headlock, forcing him to kneel. "You know, I've always been curious about what you are..." Hex whispered. The Great One growls. "I can't say I havent been curious about what you are either, fucker!" He shouted. He grabbed Hex's arm and broke it. Hex screamed. The Great One threw Hex into the wall. Hex groaned and slowly got back up. The Great One stood up. He growled at him angrily.

Meanwhile, Sabre, M, Twisted Rainbow, Hypno and Assistant were all looking for Hex. "You said he's down here somewhere?" Hypno asks. "Yeah. At least that's what the map says." Sabre says. But then they all heard roaring. "What was that?" Twisted Rainbow asks. They all ran over and peered behind a corner. They all gasped. The Great One and Hex were still fighting. Hex roared and pinned The Great One to the ground. "Great One!" Twisted Rainbow shouts. He quickly ran over to help. "Twisted! Wait!" Hypno shouts. Twisted Rainbow didnt listen. He quickly grabbed Hex and threw him off The Great One. The Great One got back up. Hex roared and attacked Twisted Rainbow. "You sick bastard! Get away from my friend!" Hypno shouts. He ran over and attacked Hex. Hex attacked back. Sabre, M and Assistant ran over to help as well. The Great One quickly grabbed Hex and threw him into the wall. Hex growled at him. "This guy is crazy!" Hypno exclaims. "No shit. I don't know how we can stop him though." Sabre says. The Great One sighs. "What do we do then?" He asks. Hex stood up. "Just die already!" He screams. Twisted Rainbow gasps. "Great One! Look out!" He shouts. He ran over and pushed The Great One away. Hex shot Twisted Rainbow. Twisted Rainbow screamed and fell to the floor. Hypno gasped. "Twisted!" He exclaims. He quickly grabbed him. Twisted Rainbow quickly hugged him. He was bleeding from his stomach. Sabre stared in shock for a moment. He looked at Hex angrily. "That's enough. Nobody will hurt my creations again!" Sabre shouts at him. He ran over and attacked Hex. Sabre punched Hex several times. Hex roared and punched Sabre to the floor. Hex teleported away. Sabre got back up. "Come on guys! He's outside!" The Great One exclaims. They all rush outside.
