Chapter 11

Alex looked at the map as she memorised the entire map during their free time in that history class. "What are you doing?" Jace asked quietly, curious about the girl who was studying a school map. Everyone was silent, wanting to know what the new badass was doing. "Memorising the map." Alex answered as she finished of the last bits of the map. "Why?"
"So I know my way around and those people wouldn't try to 'help' me." Alex said, raising her fingers to make air quotes. Smart. Alex was already done with the homework so she used that time to do necessary stuff. Unlike some people. *Cough*sluts*cough*cheerleaders*cough*. There was knocking and the door slid open with a bang. "Oops. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the interruption I just need to talk to Alex for a bit." A lady wearing slutty uniform said. Skylar. "Go ahead. She's free."
Skylar looked around as Alex walked towards her quickly. "Were you memorising that bloody school map?"
"Why?"
"I tried to do that. But this school is so bloody big and maze-like!" Skylar said as Alex walked towards her, winding through the bags and the legs bitches put out. "It's easy. I actually didn't need to do that but I was bored so why not?" Alex said as she walked out. "It's so f-reaking difficult." Skylar said after a glare from Alex who hates people cussing. They walked away from ear shot but they spoke in a different language and as quietly as possible just in case. "Have you gotten to him?"
"I am sitting beside him and he smiled at me on the first day which made his fanclub jealous. It's faster than I thought."
"Good. Now I know why they want you to do this mission, you're quick."
Alex looked at Skylar. "Anything else?"
"Um... Nope!" Alex headed back and heard Skylar shouting to her. "We're going shopping later for your clothes! No combat boots and combat pant!" She yelled. "I hate shopping! Why no combat clothing?! They are comfortable!"
"Because you are a girl and you have to wear dresses!" She yelled and went off, running. Alex rubbed the bridge of her nose in frustration and dropped into her sit. "She's gonna be making out with that boyfriend of hers while we shop." Alex mumbled. The bell rang and Alex walked out briskly to avoid the boys trying to flirt with her. Her next class was Science, one of her favourites. "Hi. I'm the new student. Alex." Alex said quietly to the teacher. "She's 15 by the way!" Squealed Mrs O'Neill who stuck her head in. "What? No way!"
Anyways long story short, everyone was surprised by that and some don't believe that statement. Alex was asked a few questions by the science teacher who was trying to test her to make sure that she is really suppose to be in this year level. She literally has more knowledge than a senior.

Alex was jumped on by Ash and unlucky him, Alex stepped away and he almost faceplanted into the wall. "I told you to stop trying that." Alex said as she walked past him. "Aren't you gonna help me?"
"Help someone who jumped on me? Nah. I'll give that a pass. You should hurry up if you wish to snog your girlfriend." Alex said behind her shoulder to Ash who was right behind her.
Apparently the news of the newbie who skipped 4 grades has spread throughout the entire school and she was flaked by boys trying to make her their girlfriend or part of theirs friendship circle. Alex slapped a hand that was trying to grope her. Ash and Skylar saw the flash of fear and panic in Alex's eyes. They both shot up and stood between Alex and those guys. "Stop trying to touch her or-"
"Or what? You're gonna lick my face?" The jock sneered and cackled up with his friends. "You're gonna have to go through us to touch Alex." A few more girls and boys have joined Alex's side. The girls were the badgirls from her history class and the boys were Jace and his friends. The jock was about to slap one of them when a pale slender arm grabbed his strong meaty one. Alex. They look back to see that wasn't there anymore. How can she move so quickly and silently?!
"Touch them and I'll do this." Alex said in a dangerously calm monotone and twisted his arm painfully behind his back, forcing him down onto the table and she pressed her elbow on his spine. "If I push down, I can break you arm and your spine. You know what happens when you break a spine? You'll be paralysed. Or you might die if I decide to break you neck instead." Alex said. Everyone was shock at her. A girl that twisted someone's arm expertly and can break their limbs or spine or even the neck?? I better not piss her off.
"Do you understand me or do I have to make myself clearer?" Alex asked, applying a little more pressure causing the jock to panic and scream at her to let him go. "You're so pathetic. You scream like a girl. I bet you'll be the first one to run away in a robbery when with your girlfriend, leaving her alone to fend for herself." Alex said and released him before walking away and slamming the door behind her. "Great! Now you've pissed her off!" Ash growled. "Wait for me Ice Queen!" Ash shouted and ran towards the door she left from. "Ash! Don't!" Skylar shouted, stopping him. "Why?!"
"She's more than capable of taking care of herself besides she'll break you neck if you disturb her. She dislocated your arm once remember?"
"Yeah... But that is nothing compared to the fact that I pushed her off the building?!"
"That was an accident." A voice said from behind them. "It's my fault for liking rooftops." Alex said biting into a dark chocolate bar.
"A 10 story building Ice Queen." Ash reminded and everyone gasped. She fell off a 10 story building?!
"I didn't die did I?" Alex asked drily as she sat down and gestured for Ash and Skylar to sit down and the girls and boys who defended her to. Skylar glared at the jocks who scrambled away but sat close enough to hear the group. "You could have." Skylar pointed out. "But I didn't."
"You were lucky." Ash said. "I was."
"You still are." Skylar said, not wanting Alex to taking negatively. "That luck is running out. I'll be gone before I know it."
"You will not and that luck NEVER EVER ran out." Skylar said. Alex regarded the the slightly glaring girl with her cold hard brown eyes. Alex knew that Skylar wouldn't give up until she is being positive about her luck of a devil. "Fine. It never ran out."
"Better, now, you should swear that on your life too."
"... If I swore that on my life doesn't that mean the minute it runs out is the minute I'm dead?"
"Yes that's about right."
"Then why do I still need to swear it on my life?"
"Because!"
"Right. Because." Alex mocked and stood up. "Where are you going?" Jace asked. "i don't know." Alex said before walking away. She's so mysterious... We learnt literally nothing about her excluding the fact that we know she almost died before. There's so many questions I want to ask her...
