6 months Aftter Filming ended (6 months after ch. 19)
Cadence's POV:
I took a deep breath as I looked at myself in the mirror. Tonight was the night - the premiere of my first ever movie. I couldn't believe it. Just a few months ago, I was an unknown actress struggling to make ends meet. And now, here I was, getting ready for the biggest night of my career.
I smoothed out my dress - a beautiful, navy blue gown that hugged my curves in all the right places. My long, dark hair was styled in loose waves that cascaded down my back. my makeup was perfect. My lips were painted with a soft, pink shade, and my eyes had just the right amount of smoky shadow to make them pop.
As I slipped on my high heels, I took a deep breath and tried to calm my nerves. This was it. The moment that could make or break my career. I had to be confident, strong, and above all, myself. I had never felt so glamorous in my life.
I heard a knock on the door, and my heart skipped a beat. It was probably Emory, come to take me to the premiere. I took one last deep breath as I opened the door.
"Hey Cade, you look stunning. are you ready to go?" Emory asked, smiling at me and roaming her eyes down my body appreciatively.
I nodded, trying to keep my cool. "I'm ready."
As we walked out the door, I felt a thrill of excitement run through me. This was it. This was the moment I had been waiting for.
"I'll be waiting for you inside. You got this." Emory whispered in my ear, kissing my neck softly before walking ahead. She wanted me to walk my first red carpet independently. Being the CEO of Winslow Enterprises, one of the biggest companies in the country , Emory is quite known in the media. So she knew walking down the carpet with me would just take the spotlight away from me being an actress and instead they will focus on our relationship.
And so I stepped out into the bright lights of the red carpet alone, and I was momentarily blinded by the flash of cameras. I could hear the voices of reporters shouting out my name, but it all felt surreal. It was as if I was watching myself from outside of my body. Photographers snapped pictures of me as I made my way down the red carpet, trying to capture every moment of my big night.
As I made my way down the carpet, I could feel all eyes on me. I knew I looked good - my dress was stunning, my hair was perfect - but that didn't stop me from feeling nervous. What if I messed up? What if I answer stupidly at the questions?
I spotted my co-stars, Matt, Nylah and Daniel, at the end of the carpet, waiting for me. Daniel is wearing a navy blue suit and Nylah a tight fitting Maroon dress. Matt looked handsome in his black suit and tie, and his genuine smile made me feel instantly at ease.
"Are you ready for this?" he asked, taking my hand in his.
I nodded, unable to find my voice as we made our way into the theater for the screening. As I stepped onto the stage for the film's premiere, all my doubts melted away. The audience was cheering for me - for us, for the movie. And suddenly, I knew - I was ready for this. I was born for this.
...
Before the Movie premieres for the first time, we were given microphones and asked to sit down on the chairs they provided for us on the stage. It's my first major interview, and I was nervous about what kind of questions I would be asked. But I had my co-stars by my side, and we were in this together.
