When they finally got to Outback and ordered their food, Pezzy wanted to clear the elephant in the room.

"Can I ask you a personal question? It's completely fine if you don't want to answer."

Olivia sat down her water and squinted her eyes at him. "Sure?"

"A little over a month ago, when you first moved in with us, you and Droid were arguing and he said something about not wanting to lose you again. What did he mean by that?"

Olivia sighed deeply, beginning to fiddle with her fingers. "Uhm, when I was a teenager..." Olivia began to tear up recalling the memory. She wiped her eye with a napkin.

"If you don't want to answer I get it," Pezzy held her hand, looking deeply into her eyes.

"No, I need to tell you, you're going to find out sooner or later." She adjusted her seating and cleared her throat, still holding Pezzy's hands. "When I was a teenager, I was depressed. I was constantly being bullied at school and being beaten up when away from school. In class, they would even cut my hair. I was so depressed, I couldn't take it anymore. At that time I was taking medications, so..." She tightened her grip on Pezzy's hands. "I overdosed." Pezzy's eyes widened in horror. "I remember putting all of the pills into my mouth and getting a big swig of water. Soon after that, it all went black. I was home alone at the time." A single tear fell onto the table. "Jaime said the rest of my family got home soon after, and they walked into the living room to see my body, spazzing out on the floor. They immediately called 911, obviously, but I'll never forget what Jaime told me. He told me, that he was crying on the floor of the living room, holding my lifeless body in his arms. When the medics showed up, they had to perform CPR on the way to the hospital, but I kept dying. It was like my heart was on and off. I woke up days later, in a hospital bed." Tears were now streaming down Olivia's face.

"Olivia..." Pezzy cuffed Olivia's cheek in his hand, tears on his face. "Olivia, I'm so sorry that that happened to you. I'm so sorry, I'm just so glad that you're alive." Olivia smiled at him.
