What GREAT timing for a letter to come in.
A little while he left for Korea, I applied to as many as jobs in Korea as possible, and I got rejected by all of them, except.... there was one that never replied. I, for fun and no actual hopes of getting the job in particular, applied to PJY ent. as a manager for an up-and-coming group. Naturally, they didn't reply and I wasn't that bummed coz I didn't expect anything anyway.
Well, I certainly didn't expect this. My roomie from uni came in with the week's mail, and I was surprised to find that, out of the pile of confession letters meant for 'school-hottie' bestie, there was one for me. So obviously I was interested.
And guess what? It was a letter for PYJ ent. saying that they would be glad to recruit me as the manager for the soon-to-debut soloist, Peter. Like, WHY NOW after all this time, Mr. Jin Young Park? Not that I'm complaining. I've been trying go get a job for a while now, but it seems like I started searching a little too late.
Oh. Wait. Further in the letter, they explained that when I first applied to be the manager of Starry Kids, I wasn't suitable because of the language barrier, but Mr. PJY saw potential in me and didn't turn me down. Now, a new idol from America has become a trainee, but most of the applicants were fluent Korean speakers but broken English ones, but then Mr PJY remembered ✨me✨ and, well you know the rest.
But doesn't this seem a little too rushed? Like my ex just died. And it's all my fault.
No, Sun Hee, get a hold of yourself. I promised myself I wouldn't let myself go into a slump like i did when I got dumped, and I won't miss any chances
