Chapter 1

[Yuri pov] 

It was my first day of high school! I'm so excited really. 

I was getting ready for school when my best friend rang the bell. 

"COMING~" I shouted from upstairs. And ran downstairs when I opened the door. Here my best friend Niki, he is standing while smiling at me. I smiled back. "Let's go, i don't want to be late for the first day" he said. "Yes, yes, I'm coming wait- "I said. 

I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs again. "Let's goooo~" I said. Excited. 

Ok let me introduce myself. I'm Yuri. I live with my parents. I'm the only child. My dad is a professional doctor and my mom is a business woman. We have our own hospital. It's owned by my dad. I want to become a doctor too.

 And Niki. He is my childhood best friend. We have been together since we were just 1-year-old kids. His and my parents are both also very close. His family is much richer than mine. They own a big company and his dad is the CEO. His mom works with his dad. He also wanted to become like his dad and wanted to take over the company in future. 

I'm so happy that I'm going to become 18 years old and Niki and I were both born in the same year. 

"We are here" Niki said. When we are walking towards the corridor all the girls are screaming. Yeah because of him. He is so handsome and so popular.

I'm just popular because I'm his best friend. I don't like attention, actually, I'm an introvert. But Niki likes being at the center of attention. I know we are kinda opposite but opposite attract, they said. 

We both have different classes. So I said good-bye to him and went to my class. 

[Time skip]

The teacher came and our class started. We all introduced ourselves. And I also made a friend. Her name is Shakura. She is also my seatmate. She is really so sweet and so pretty. I can say all the boys are head over heels for her.

Mrs. Choi started the first chapter. I was taking notes when Shakura tapped on my shoulder. I looked at her.

"What?" I whispered. "Let's go to the cafe after school, I want to introduce you to all my friends. "Yeah why not" I said while smiling. She smiled back. 

[Time skip]

The class has just ended.

"Hey, let's go to the canteen together" Shakura said. "sorry but I have to join my best friend, let's meet after school ok?" I said. "oh ok ok bye then" she said. We bid goodbye.

I went to the canteen. I was looking for Niki. Where is he? Ah

"BOOO" someone said near my ear. I literally jumped. "Who the hell- oh heyyy why you did that. You know I hate it!" I said. "HAHAHHAHA your face is really so funny right now" he said. "Nikiii!" I shouted. "ok ok sorry let's go i already bought your fav food" he said and held my hand. We went towards the table.

I can see 2 new figures. I don't know who they are? "Hello?" I said "hey guys look, she is my best friend I'm talking about. Yuri, This is Sunoo and this is jungwon", niki said. "Hello", "hello", Sunoo and jungwon said. "Hi guys, I'm Yuri. Nice to meet you" I said while smiling.

"Come sit down, let's eat" Niki said. "Yeah" i said. "She is really so pretty Niki" Sunno said while staring at me. "Oh thank you so much you are also so cute", I said.

"eww guys shut up, it's so cheesy and who said she is pretty? You have some fault in your eyes", Niki said, while making a disgusted face. "HEY!, like you are so handsome, your face is like a sick duck" I said. While rolling my eyes, "Don't call me duck!" He said.

"Guys stop fighting, you are both ugly" Jungwon said. While laughing, "How dare you-" me and Niki said in union. "ok ok stop, let's eat the food. It's getting cold" Sunoo said.

We are all just chatting and sharing our funny life stories. I really like Sunoo and Jungwon. They are both so friendly and nice. I feel comfortable with them.

The bell rang. We bid goodbye and went to our classes. Sunoo and I have the same class so we walked together.

"Wow it's really amazing to talk with you" Sunoo said while smiling. "Oh thanks and you are really nice too. I really enjoyed talking with you too" I said while smiling back.

"You know don't mind Niki, you are really so beautiful" he said while staring at me. "Hahah I know him, he is always like this. I never take him seriously tho and thank you so much" I said. He nodded his head sweetly. Oh my god he is really so cuteeeeee.

[Time skip]

I went to the cafe Shakura Message me the address.

"HEYY Yuri hereee!" Shakura said while waving her hand excitingly. I went towards her. And greeted her friends.

"Hello I'm Yuri" I said. "Hello I'm kazuha nice to meet you" "Hi I'm eunchae" "Hi I'm yunjin" "Hello I'm garam" "hi I'm chaewon". They all introduced themselves.

"So Yuri, tell us about yourself" Kazuha said. "I'm Yuri haha and I'm going to turn 18 next month. My dad is a doctor and I also want to be a doctor like him. My mom is a business woman. And I'm an only child but I have a best friend. He is the same age as me. His name is Niki. We are so close. I'm an introvert person and I love reading books and watching movies, so yeah that's all" i said.

"Wow nice" eunchae said while clapping cutely. They all also introduced themselves. Eunchae, she wants to be a fashion designer. Garam said she is just like me but she wants to be an actress. Kazuha also wants to be a doctor like me. Yunjin said she wants to be a model. Chaewon, she wants to be a choreographer. And lastly, Shakura, she said she wants to be a singer.

We all chatted and told each other about ourselves too. They are all so cool. I want to introduce them to niki, sunoo and jungwon too. It's my first time making friends and I'm really satisfied with how lovely and nice they are. I think it's gonna be the best year of high school.
