Chapter 24

[ flashback ]

[ Yuri POV ]

After the announcement of Jay's birthday party, I went into our class. Because lunch already ended.

I was thinking about the party, that it'll be fun? And I'll be okay? Then I suddenly remember I forget to ask the time.

The class ended, and I was searching for Sunghoon. I want to ask him that when will he pick me up.

I can't find him. Then I saw heeseung, one of Sunghoon's friend. We met 2 or 3 times when Sunghoon invited me to his house but we are not that close. I went towards him.

"Ah, hey?" I said awkwardly. He was talking to his friend. He turns towards me. "Yes?" He said. "ah you know, where Sunghoon is? I can't find him," I said, looking around. "Yes, he went towards Jake's class," he said, pointing in the direction. I know where his class is, so I thanked him and left.

I was going to enter in the class when I heard my name so I stopped because I want to know what they are talking about me.

"How about Yuri? How's life going with her?" Jake asked Sunghoon. "She? She didn't want to do IT yet. You know it's so boring, talking about only sweet things and all. I'm tired of it. I think I'll get diabetes soon," Sunghoon said and laugh with Jake. He thinks like that?

"Well, you know Rachel wants to meet you tonight," Jake told Sunghoon, and smirk. Who is Rachel? And why she wants to meet Sunghoon at night? Oh, oh, oh, I sound possessive. Maybe it's only his friend? Or cousin? "That hottie? Of course I'll love to meet her, in which club she is coming?" Sunghoon said, smirking. Hottie!? And they are meeting at the club!? Sunghoon, are you cheating on me or what? No, no, no, it can't be. He is not someone like that. I ignored the feeling. "On xxx club at 12 am," Jake told him. I heard his footsteps coming towards me.

What should I do!? He is coming here!

"Oh, hey Yuri, what are you doing here?" Jake asked me, surprised. Sunghoon came running towards us. He looks so nervous and shocked. "I just came here, I want to ask about the time when will Sunghoon pick me up" I said looking at Sunghoon. I wanna ask him about this everything but my guts are saying it's not the right time. I'll go and find out on my own. "Well.... I'll pick you up at 8. The party will start at 10, okay?" Sunghoon said nervously, scratching the back of his neck. "oh okay, then I think I should go now. Bye" I bid goodbye and left.

"Do you think she heard it all?" Jake asked Sunghoon. "no I don't think so" Sunghoon said left as well.

[ Time skip ]

I am at home. It's 7 pm, and the conversation keeps playing in my head. Maybe I should just go and check by myself. Then my doubts will be clear. Yes, I should go.

I wore a ball cap and black t-shirt and jeans. Let's see. I hope Sunghoon doesn't break my trust.

It’s 12:15 am.

I called a cab and went to the club, Jake mentioned. I went into the club. Looking around for Sunghoon. Where is he? There are so many peoples.

I saw a man he look like Sunghoon. His back was facing me, so I can't see his face. But his body and hairstyle are just like Sunghoon. I was about to go towards him when I bumped into a
drunk man and he spilled his drink on my clothes. I said sorry because I don't wanna fight with him and he is already drunk.

I look toward the men who look like Sunghoon, but he is already gone. Then I saw him going upstairs, where the rooms were. I followed him.

He knocked on the room door. Then a girl came out. She is wearing so revealing clothes exposing her almost whole body. She wraps her arms around him and starts kissing him. The men kissed her back and when his face turn towards me, my eyes went wide.

It was really Sunghoon.

His eyes were closed kissing the girl, almost eating her face.

How? How can he do this to me? Tears are coming out of my eyes nonstop. My vision got so blurry. I ran downstairs. I can't watch my boyfriend making out with some other girl. It hurts. It hurts so much.

I called a cab and went to my house.

Locking my room door, I slide down, hugging my knees and crying harder and harder. How? And why? Why he did this to me? If he doesn't love me, then he should've said that and end this relationship. Why he cheated on me? He is my first boyfriend. I trusted him so much that I fought with Niki for him, and he... he broke my trust.

Is this what Niki was warning me about? Why he didn't explain it to me?

Sunghoon, the man I admired the most, the man whom I gave my whole heart, the man whom I love unconditionally, whom I trusted the most. In the end he broke my trust and shattered my heart into millions of pieces.

I was crying the whole night. I should've listened to Niki. It’s all my fault.

Its....it's all my fault that I trust on someone whom I just met and not my best friend. I was blind.

I don't know when I fall asleep.

[ Flashback end ]

*current time*

"That's how I found about this all, Niki I'm really sorry that I didn't trust on you, and trust on someone I don't even know, it's all my fault, this happened to me because of my foolishness," I said, a tear escape my eye. Niki held my cheeks and wiped the tear using his thumb. 

"Hey no, it's okay. We are all humans. It's our nature to make mistakes and then learn from it. Don't worry, I'm always here for you. Don't cry, please," Niki said and hugged me. I hugged him tightly.

"So? How you gonna break up with Sunghoon?" Niki asked me, still hugging. "I don't know. I want to catch him red-handed and want to dump him on the spot," I said, broking the hug and looking at my feet. He hummed in response.

"What about Shakura? You both are in a relationship, right?" I asked, looking at Niki. "We are not in a relationship and she doesn't even love me," he said and shrugged. "What? But what about the kiss? You kissed her in front of me...?" I asked, confused. What does he mean by that?

"Yes, she told me that she love someone else, and about that kiss. It wasn't a kiss I put my thumb between our lips," he said, making me all confused. "She loves someone else?" I asked him, raising my eyebrows. Niki nodded his head. "Who? Who she is in love with?" I asked him, all curious.

"Jungwon" Niki said.

"Jungwon? She loves jungwon?" I asked, surprised. Niki nodded his head again. "Then what about the all relationship thing you are doing in front of the entire school?" I asked. I swear this boy is making me more confuse than math questions.

"Oh, that-" a hard knock on the door cut off Niki.

"HEY! COME OUT! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING!? NIKI LEAVE MY GIRLFRIEND!" Sunghoon yelled. Knocking nonstop. I looked at Niki.

"Let's go" Niki held my hand and opened the door.
