Y/n is in a wheelchair and needs someone to take care of her. So I opted to take care of a woman who thinks I'm a complete stranger.
Simba scratches Y/n's leg and she picks him up.
"Who's dog is this?" Y/n asks.
"Yours, his name is Simba." I say.
"Lion king is my favorite movie." Y/n says as Simba licks her face.
Tini runs over and Y/n picks her up.
"That's Tini, she's mine." I say.
"Clearly she likes me better." Y/n says.
I roll my eyes and Y/n laughs.
"So who are you?" Y/n asks.
"I'm your ex-girlfriend." I say.
"No way I fumbled you!" Y/n says.
"More like I fumbled you." I say.
"What do you mean?" She asks.
"I lied to you and what I lied to you about really hurt you. So you broke up with me because you said you still loved me but we couldn't be together." I say.
"Must've been a pretty big lie." She says.
"Yeah." I say.
"I still make music right?" She asks.
"You make gold, liquid gold that flows through wires and into people's ears." I say.
"I don't think it's that good." She says.
"You won 3 Grammys the night you got hit." I say.
"Maybe I am." She says.
I laugh and she smiles.
Time Skip
I hear Y/n crying and I look over at her.
I hear her crying into the pillow and I hold her hand. She pushes my hand away and turns away from me.
"Y/n." I say.
"Y/n." I say as she cries loudly.
"Why are you crying?" I ask.
"Because I can't remember anything!" Y/n says.
"I don't remember winning any awards, I don't remember you, I don't remember-" Y/n says.
"It's fine. It's all apart of the process. You'll remember eventually. Don't rush it." I say.
I'm telling her not to rush it because as soon as she remembers everything, she'll start avoiding me again.
"How about I order you a large pizza and watch you eat it while I eat my personal pan pizza? Will that make you feel better?" I ask.
