Chapter Fifthteen

Ben's POV

I wanted tonight to be special; it was my first date with Devi, I'm glad she told me she liked me; I've had a crush on her for years, but it's always been about Paxton. It was always him.

We're both virgins, so it won't be anything like that unless Devi is comfortable with it. I got dressed and texted Devi, letting her know that I was on my way too pick her up.

I got to her house, and she opened the door, I handed her some roses and took her hand, opened the door for her, we were matching, that's not a coincidence. I made a reservation so I know that this night will be perfect, it has to be. It was a drive, but it was worth it just listening to music, laughing.

I finally pulled into the parking lot, the look on Devi's face is everything. She had the biggest smile on her face, eyes wide. I found a spot and parked, then got out and opened the door for Devi, took her hand and we walked into the restaurant.

Hello, reservation for two for Gross. I said to the clerk. He took us to our table, and we sat down the waters were already on the top thank God, we sat down and talked for a while and finally decided to order our food. Nothing could be better than this, I've waited so long, I've loved her for so long, that I can't even believe this is happening, that this is real.

Our food finally got there, we ate, we talked some more, we just had a really great time, like I prayed we'd have. " Can we order desert Ben? Please?" Devi asked I just smiled and ordered whatever it is that she wanted. She's so beautiful. We took some pictures; we watched some funny TikTok's and just really enjoyed our night together.

Once we were all finished, I paid the bill and headed back to Devi's to drop her off. It was the same as it was on the way there, just listening to music, vibing, watching Devi, smile. Once we pulled in front of Devi's house, I opened the door for her once again, walked her to her door, and gave her a small kiss on the cheek. I hope she loved tonight as much as I did.
