It was Sophomore year , new start , new year , same school. Hopefully nobody remembers that I lost my dad or mentally physically made myself not be able to walk and had to be in a damn wheelchair, but I can walk now thanks to the one and only Paxton Hall-Yoshida !
Trying to find the best outfit and figure out how I want to do my hair is so damn complicating. Whatever this will just have to do, I grab my bag and head downstairs to my mother and annoying but surprisingly nerdy yet hot cousin Kamala.
Devi are you ready for a new year back? Nalini asked , looking at me very closely as if I'm going to break again or something .
Mom I'm fine , I'm actually excited about this year , it'll be good for me plus it's two years closer to Princeton so I really have to step up my game this year . I smiled at my mother to at least calm her nerves a little .
I walk out the door to start heading to school , excited to see my best friends Fabiola and Eleanor , thankfully school isn't that far from my house , so I get there pretty quickly. I see the girls and head over to them .
Hey guys , what's up , what I miss ? I asked sternly and excitedly, they both left me for the summer so I didn't get too see them as much , so I'm happy to see them . We walked through the halls to get to our lockers , there's literally nothing that could ru- who the fuck is that!
