"Leah what's going on?" I asked
"My sweet little jellyfish I'm sorry for what I'm about to tell you" she said
My eyes began to water and I looked behind her at the two guys who claim to be family of mine. I hadn't known them long enough to consider them that, but they knew something I didn't. They knew something that they weren't telling straight forward and I really didn't appreciate it. I looked back at Leah and noticed that her eyes began to water just mine had.
"Leah" I said softly
"I'm sorry Jellyfish, but your mom isn't coming home" she said
"What, yes she is, what are you saying" I said
"Little one, your mom she didn't make it, she's gone" Dean said
"What, no stop lying to me" I said tears streaming down my face
"Way to lay it nicely Dean" Sam said
"No, she has to come home, she hasn't seen me graduate I just started high school Leah tell them to stop lying" I cried
My hands began to spark with my magic abilities and I felt my body begin to shake with anger and sadness.
"Little fish I need you to breath for me" Leah said trying to calm me down
"No, she's dead and and I didn't say goodbye" I cried
"I know sweetheart, but it's going to be okay, I'm going to be here for you, I'm here to be anything you need me to be okay" Leah said
"Promise you won't ever leave me?" I asked
"I wouldn't dream of leaving you jellyfish" she said
"I want my mom" I cried in her arms
"Shh I know" she said comforting me

Two weeks later
I was running through the forest trying to escape from Leah who was on patrol right now not knowing I had left the house. I went running to the beach only because I needed space from her right now. I mean don't get me wrong the love she is showing is nice since when happened two weeks ago. Or form what I found out two weeks ago, about my mother being killed by some demon named Crowley. I wasn't supposed to know that part of the information, but all I know is it was Sam's fault. And I refuse to call him dad because of it, him and Dean stayed a few days before they packed up and left in the middle of the night.
Left a note saying it was best they head out so they didn't cause any more issues, but that's the thing they already have. Telling me mom was dead was one thing, but me finding out who and what did it was another thing. So here I was running towards the special spot I had acquired on the beach. It wasn't much to anyone else, but to me it was everything and I knew Leah or the pack could find me easily. So, what they didn't know was I'd been practicing my magic and I've been able to hide my scent from them and Leah. Leah especially because she was so attached to me and I never understood as to why she cared so much.
I mean I know her and the pack were good friends with my mom, but that didn't explain why she was up my ass 24/7. I hated it sometimes especially when I'd get into trouble at school it was like she was watching me all the damn time. Sometimes I needed my own space and sometimes she never really understands that. Hell Claire get's a lot of attention for Quill too just like Leah does with me and it's overwhelming the both of us. What I didn't anticipate was for a monster to follow me when I had masked my scent from the entire pack. So I was quick to my feet and running once more from my favorite spot to try and yes, try and outrun a fucking vampire. Don't get me wrong if I was something other than just a witch I'd be able to do it.
But now I found myself pinned to the ground by a red eyed vampire with a black and red coat. She had piercing red eyes, blond hair, pale skin and more than the term cold would fit for her temperature. As I was pinned to the ground two other vampires arrived and she finally back off me and they all stared.
"You have magic abilities yes?" the blond girl asked
"Who are you people?" I asked
"The Vultori" The dark haired man said
My eyes scanned them, I heard Jacob and the Cullens mention something about the higher up vampires. I never knew they'd have an interest in me, then again they were all about power.
"What do you want with me?" I asked
"Your abilities to add to Aro's collection" the third guy said
"Tell Aro to shove it" I said right as Leah and the pack came out of the tree line to attack
