Chris pulled into the parking lot and he turned the car off and turned to Leon. Chris looked at Sergio in the back in his car seat.

"Leon, are you sure you want to do this? We don't have to."

"...we need to know Chris. I don't want to do this anymore than you do. But I... we need to know... that Sergio is completely healthy."

Chris nodded and he grabbed Leon's hand and kissed it. "Okay... then let's go get our baby boy checked out."

Leon nodded and smiled. Chris got out of the car and he closed the door. He then opened the door for Leon and helped his omega who was still healing out of the car and he then got Sergio's car seat out. Chris locked the door and he grabbed Leon's hand and the omega winced.

"Sorry baby I know it hurts with the stitches. But you need to walk."

"I know..." Leon chuckled. "Out of all the injuries I've had, childbirth is the worst."

Chris chuckled. "Well it was for a good cause we have our little love."

Leon motioned for Chris to lean down and he kissed him. "That we do."

They finally made it inside and the same nurse who helped Leon last time was already there to take him back. "Oh my goodness, look at him. Isn't he just the cutest little thing, and this must be your mate right?"

Leon nodded. "It is. Chris Redfield."

"Redfield huh? You and your sister have quite the name for yourself. Well congratulations to you two." The nurse opened the door to the room. "I just want to let you know this procedure will be simple. I am going to draw some of the baby's blood and also use an ultrasound machine to see if I see anything like the plaga inside of him."

They both nodded. "He's so small? How are you going to draw his blood? Chris asked.

The nurse smiled. "His foot. For babies, that's the easiest place to draw blood."

Leon took Sergio out of his car seat. Sergio had on overalls with a white short sleeve onesie, the bottom part of the overalls were black, and the top portion was light blue and in the middle was a yellow sun with a smile and he had on yellow socks. Leon took the socks off of one foot and he held his baby close to him.

"Okay I am going to try to be quick."

The nurse quickly prepped everything and she found a good vein on Sergio's little foot. Leon and Chris were holding his foot and she pricked him and connected the tube to get some blood. The abruptly woke Sergio from his sleep and the baby lip trembled before he started to cry loudly. She finished getting the samples and pulled the needle out and she bandaged his foot. Leon gently rocked him. "Shush.. shush.."

Chris kissed Sergio's little foot. "Oh I know the mean mean lady. She hurt my baby. Don't worry we will get her for you."

Leon snorted.

"What?"

"Nothing." Leon smiled. "Just cute hearing you be all protective over our little Sergio."

"Of course I'm protective!" Chris whined. "That's my job to love and protect you both."

The nurse smiled at the two new parents. "I'll be back soon."

While she was running the blood in the lab she came back with the ultrasound machine. She used it to check over Sergio and Leon sighed in relief and so did Chris. There were no parasites. When the blood came back it came back as negative.

"This little one is perfectly healthy, he doesn't have any trace of the plaga in him at all, Leon you are also perfectly fine. You both are going to be okay." She smiled.
