Sergio whimpered as he snuggled closer into Leon’s side. The omega looked pitfully at his son as he checked his forehead. Luis said this would happen. Their son was running a high fever and both parents were doing their best to keep it down. Chris came back with an ice cold rag and he gently placed it on Sergio’s forehead.

“Luis said it shouldn’t last more than 24 hours.” Chris could sense his omegas concern, the alpha leaned over kissing him. “He’ll be okay baby. Don’t worry.”

“I know I just hate seeing him like this and then those bruises from-“

“I know… but he’s with us now and he’s safe. And soon we will get to take him home and be with him and our other two pipsqueaks.”

Leon smiled. “You always know how to change a shitty moment into something positive.”

Chris chuckled and kissed Leon’s hand. “Well that’s my job hm? I’ve got to be a super dad and super husband.”

Leon smiled and he placed his hand lovingly on Chris’s cheek. “I love you… we love you.”

Chris kissed the inner palm of his hand. “I know. I love you too baby.”

In the morning little Sergio opened his eyes and he could hear the rhythmic beeping, and he looked around the bright white room. Sergio leaned up and Chris and Leon were nowhere to be seen. “...Mommy? Daddy…?”

Sergio looked down at his arm seeing the IV and the circles on his chest monitoring his heart rate. The little one looked next to him seeing a stuffed animal lion and he picked it up holding it close to him.Sergio got down and he walked forward and he winced as the IV yanked out of his arm because he moved too far. He whimpered as it hurt, and he unclicked the cords from the sticky circles on his chest and went over to the hospital room door opening it. He slowly peeked out and looked around. “Mommy..?”

Sergio walked forward holding the stuffed animal, and he was walking the halls. Rebecca closed up what she was working on and she turned back towards the observation monitor for Sergio and her eyes widened. “Shit…”

Rebecca called Chris and the male quickly answered. They were just down in the cafeteria eating. Knowing Sergio was being monitored by Rebecca through CCTV had them relieved until she called.

“Hello?”

“He’s gone…!”

“What? What do you mean he’s gone?!” Chris shouted worriedly and that made Leon panic and immediately get up to rush back to the room. “Leon..! Damn it..!” He hung up and followed his omega.

Sergio reached an elevator door and he pressed the button. He waited patiently for the elevator to come up and when it did ding and the doors opened his eyes widened. Sergio backed up, horrified. The gray and white husky tilted her head and she walked over slowly to Sergio.

“No…! Stay away…!” Sergio cried and he tossed the stuffed animal. The dog could sense he was scared. Sergio backed up against a wall and tried to make himself small. The dog picked up the stuffed animal and she came over and sat the stuffed animal by Sergio, and he nudged Sergio and whined as she tried to lick his face. Sergio felt like it tickled and he ended up giggling as the dog licked his little face. The elevator dinged and as Leon and Chris stepped off with Rebecca they saw Sergio giggling.

“Diana!” Rebecca whistled and the dog stopped and sat down. “Seems she found him before us.”

Sergio looked up and he saw his parents and teared up. “..Mommy… Daddy..!”

Leon ran over to him and he scooped little Sergio up and held him so tight and close. “Mommy…! Mommy I missed you..!” Leon was emotional as he held him and he brushed his hair back kissing all over his little face. “Oh baby.. I missed you too.. So much… Mommy is so sorry…” Leon apologized profusely and looked him over. Chris came over and kissed the top of Sergio’s head and little hand. “Daddy…”

Chris nuzzled him. “Hey baby boy…”

Leon looked down and noticed his arm. “Baby your arm..!”

“The cord came out by accident… I’m sorry…”

Leon kissed his nose. “Oh baby it’s okay… we can clean it okay? Let’s get you back to the room.”

Sergio was in the hospital for three days before he was able to come home. But they finally released him and Leon and Chris both took time off just to be with their children for a few months. When Chris opened the door Dominique and Claudio ran over from Claire. “Daddy! Mommy!”

Chris kneeled down and kissed both kids and hugged them and Leon kneeled down with Sergio who was in his arms. Leon kissed his other two kiddos and Dominique and Claudio kissed and hugged their old brother. Claire smiled and her brother looked up thanking her. She was so happy to see their little family safe and together again.
