🌙 Part 42

The book we started together has come to an end so let’s write the ending with a smile.

Taehyung was pacing round gathering his files, he stumbled on his bag then picked it up shoving his files in it. He wears his jacket and watch as he makes his way out.

“Taehyungie wait, your lunch” Jungkook called out to him, taehyung smacked his head.

“God why am I forgetting everything just when I got late today” he went in and kept his lunch in his bag.

Jungkook smiled looking at taehyung who had an angry scowl on his face. Jungkook pulled him and kissed his lips which made taehyung to stop his action and melted in the kiss. He kept his bag down as he wrapped his hands around jungkook’s waist and kissed him deeply. A ring from his phone brought him back as he hurriedly looked at his watch and rushed out not before pecking jungkook’s lips agin.

“Bye hyung, take care I”ll try to come back early, Love you”

“But tae you forgot your bag” Jungkook tried to bit back a smile as taehyung groaned frustratingly and took his bag.

“Bye call me when you reach, love you” Jungkook said standing at the door, Taehyung gave him a flying kiss as he drove away, Jungkook went back in getting ready for his work.

It’s been 4 years, A lot of things has changed. Taehyung completed his studies and recently he got a job in a Law firm. His boss Vincenzo is an Italian- Korean, he is a very punctual and arranged person which made taehyung nervous of the consequences of him getting late for work. 

Jungkook got ready for his work, he locked the door and walked out. You wonder where he is working? Well among the years yoongi got a lot of recognition in the music industry. He released his first album last year, now he’s one of the most expensive and busiest producers and an Idol. Jungkook works as his assistant, managing his schedules, pitching projects, managing oversea work and many other tasks. At first yoongi was unsure but then he didn’t trust anyone more than Jungkook, also he’s the only one who understands yoongi and work with him better.

Yoongi’s love life, well he did try dating someone by meeting them on a blind date but they soon got fed up with him due to his workaholic personality. Yoongi is a person who’s number one priority is his work. It’s not that he didn’t feel bad about the breakup it’s just he didn’t find the perfect one. In future he will surlily think about dating again and this time he is going to cherish them and if possible, marry that person.

Nowadays jungkook is trying his best to pair his boss with one of the songwriters who often sends her songs to them. She does have feelings for yoongi but Jungkook knows best to take things slow and not scare away the duo even before they become couples. 

Jiwoon has been under a lot of responsibility, after his dad he was the eldest son who has to take care of the company, he dedicated years in handling his business and taking care of his younger brother. For him his brother is all he has and he is going to take care of him.

Recently Jungkook and Taehyung attended Jimin’s wedding. Jimin was in a relationship with one of his coworker, later they both married eachother. Jungkook was really happy for his best friend and Hoseok was a good guy. They both had sleepover before their marriage. Jimin and Hoseok both gave their blessing to taehyung and Jungkook.

Taehyung noticed how Jungkook was looking at the couples with heart eyes. It might be a little early for him for a marriage but Jungkook was at the proper age to get marry. Taehyung has thought about it a lot and looking at jimin’s wedding ceremony with so many guest, taehyung thought none of them has any family or relatives they just have a little group of friends.

One day he went and brought rings from a jewelry store from his savings. Till now they both were wearing the rings taehyung brought with yumi back then. But now he wants to replace them with an actual wedding ring. He was waiting for a perfect moment to propose Jungkook.  Whereas Jungkook does wants to marry and have pup’s with taehyung but he doesn’t want to snatch taehyung’s 20s, he is still too young and Jungkook accepts that and will wait for him.

Jungkook was working on their last world tour venue which was their own city. It was yoongi’s second last show so he was finally stress free. He invited Taehyung so they both can enjoy the show together. They both jumped around giggling as they sing their heart out. During one of the songs taehyung passed a chit to a girl who read it and smiled excitedly.

*I’m going to propose please record us* she immediately started recording them.

Taehyung removed his hand around jungkook’s waist, he nervously bit his lips and then at a particular line he bends down on his knees and pulled out a ring.

Jungkook suddenly felt as if the crowd around them started screaming crazily he though maybe yoongi did something but then he looked at the screen where him and taehyung were displayed and he was on his knees.
He widens his eyes as he looked at taehyung with tears in his eyes.

“Will you marry me Jungkook” he said and jungkook busted in tears.

“YES YES” he said and raised his hands towards him, taehyung slipped the ring in his fingers and seal their love with a kiss. Everyone around them cheered as they were displayed on the big screen.

Yoongi’s mouth was hung open as he looked at them.

“Seriously guys? You stole the spotlight at my own concert.” He said as taehyung smiled sheepishly. 

“Congratulations, Taehyung please take care of my Jungkook” he later said with tears in his eyes. He was like a parent figure for Jungkook and it felt as if his daughter just got proposed right in front of him.

“I love you Jungkook and always will”

“I love you the most My Baby Alpha”

They kissed again as people around them cheered and congratulating the couples, their bond was stronger than ever. Taehyung looked at Jungkook as if he was that star that everyone wished for.

Many doubt about his love but he proved everyone wrong as the looked at his first love with a ring around his finger and a smile on his face. He promised to protect that smile forever.
