MAYA POV-
I have had sex dreams about Charles for four nights in a row. I thought it was a one-time thing and I would stop fantasizing about him, but boy, I was so wrong.
Apart from that, life is hectic but good. I finally came up with an idea for my movie, wrapped up the shoot for Vanity Fair, and also my upcoming crime thriller series.
Now I and Sarreena are on the way to Saudi Arabia for the Grand Prix. I have no clue what to expect from Charles—should I ignore him, maybe high-five him, or go back to hating his guts? Yeah, the last one comes so naturally to me. I stalk him on social media every night before going to bed. I guess I should stop doing that because it manifests into a sex dream. I don't know what to do. I am so clueless when it comes to him. One minute I dislike him and his choices with every cell in my body, and the next I want him to be all over me, just like that night in Bahrain.
'So tell me about this big movie idea of yours,' Sareena asked excitedly. We were already halfway through our journey.
'Ummm, well, you know how I have always done movies on finding your other half and love and romance,' I said, rolling my eyes.
'Well, this story is all about how to be single and why it is important to be single,' I further added.
'That's very interesting, so are you going to write yourself or...'
'Not really, let's schedule a video call meeting tomorrow with this group of writers I think I am going with; I have sent you their details.' I replied
'No problem, I will set it up,' she said. 'By the way, I want to ask something I have been meaning to,' she asked hesitantly.
'What is it?' I questioned
'You know I heard voices coming from your room the night of the race in Bahrain; who was it?' she asked teasingly.
Ohhhh fuck, I thought these high-end hotels at least had sound-proof rooms. Should I tell her or not?
'Was it one of the drivers?' she asked before I could say anything.
'Yeah,' I said, slowly scrunching my nose, wanting to jump out of the flight.
'Let me guess it was Carlos,' she said.
I nodded my head in negative.
'So who was it?' She said, looking confused, and then her eyes widened. 'Charles Leclerc!" She almost shouted
'Shhhhhhhhh, keep it down,' I said, looking around to see if fellow passengers heard her, but thankfully all business class passengers had their sliding doors closed.
'But you hated him! Oh, that love-hate relationship that you guys have! Your kids are going to be so pretty,' Sereena said, gushing.
"What are you saying, baby! no to all of your questions?" I said I was trying to kill her enthusiasm over the topic.
'It was just sex; I kicked him out in the morning' I further added.
'You are such a buzzkill, but you are going to see him, so like, are you going to act like nothing happened or maybe do it again?' she asked.
Honestly, I have no clue. I don't know.
'But are you sure you don't like him? I mean, he is so hot and beautiful. I mean, he is like crafted by gods themselves,' Serena said with a dreamy look.
'Miss, you have a boyfriend! And no, I mean, he is very different from me. He is a typical fuckboy. How can you like someone who has a God complex? I mean, he is great in bed, but that's it; I doubt anything could happen more than that' I explained to her.
'But you don't know him! What if he liked you too? I mean, what if you guys are meant to date or something? Please keep an open mind.' Sarena tried to reason.
'Are you kidding me ! him and dating don't go in one sentence; he is not the type you settle with! You know who is on the other hand—Carlos' I said pointing out
'Yeah, he is also so freaking dreamy,' Sareena said, making me laugh at her blushing expression.
