CHAPTER 3

Maya pov-
As soon as i opened my eyes i regretted it. 'Fuck i am so not going to drink anymore' i said loudly to my self, cradling my head in my hands. But then I saw the Beauty I took home lying next to me securely tucked under the blanket.
My OSCAR trophy .
I scooched close to it said 'u r mine and i will never let you go'
'Thank god that's a trophy otherwise if it would have been a boy he would have called you obsessive psycho' Thalia said getting up from floor.
'WTF you scared me man and why are u sleeping on floor?'i said shocked in my hoarse voice.
'I am not drinking again this sucks' Thalia said jumping next to me on bed.
'U know that's a lie. We always say this' i replied growning into my pillow.
'Where is Claire?' I and Thalia both ask at the same time
'I am here guys' a voice came from from my walk-in closet
'WTF are u doing there bitch' Thalia half shouted to Claire
'Shut up !!' Claire replied emerging from closet and jumped on the bed between me and Thalia while keeping the trophy on bedside table.
'Uhhh guys my head hurts what the fuck happened last night? Were we so drunk that we couldn't change our clothes from last night? and if it was so why didn't i sleep with someone ?' Clair questioned.
Last couple of months have been a dream. Getting nominated and then finally winning was like a dream come true. I had films scheduled one after another although half of them were still romance but I didn't mind that. I knew it would take time. My audience still views me as a chick flick girl. It's funny for someone who has never experienced what love feels like and yet here I am making people cry.
Even though i am super busy with film schedules I have developed interest in direction and music. I want to direct a film now but have no clue what its gonna be about.
and ladies and gentlemen most importantly I am a producer now so yeah life is kinda great.

I picked up my phone from the side table while Thalia and Claire went on and on about never touching alcohol again. My face and thank you speech was all over social media. My inbox was filled with people congratulating me, but all I was searching was if there was a message from my parents.
My parents uhhhh long story short they wanted me to continue with my academics and become a lawyer like them. Although i went to law school but life had other plans. When they got to know about my plans of not going ahead with law, they didn't talk to me for months. After achieving so much my mother came around so she texts or calls me once in a while, although I haven't spoken to my father for 4 years. Only update i get about him is from my mother and my elder sister who by the way is lawyer, so i am the black sheep of the family. It was because of her that i survived my struggle period. She was and is my rock. She gave up on her dream of becoming tennis player because of family traditions but forbid me to give up on my dreams.

'Good morning girls uhhh you all look like shit man well here is coffee' sarenna greeted while entering the room.
'Man you are lifesaver' i said getting up and taking coffee from her hand.
'I love you' Claire thanked while taking her cup from sareena so did Thalia.
'Last night was wild guys' Sareena stated while mentioning last nights after party
' tell me about it' i muttered. Last night after party was wild.
'Sareena hit me already what all i have scheduled' i asked Sareena.
'Well u don't have anything for next 6-7 days but after that u have meeting for Apex as your are now officially a producer' sareena informed me smiling excitedly.
'Hey is Apex that formula one movie, the Brad Pit one?'thalia asked curiously.
'Yup, i am really nervous man' i replied
'Why the fuck are you nervous you are one of the producers they should be scared of you, its your money! its them who should be scared'Thalia replied sassily
'Yeah I'm that but its just that i am so young and everything i want them to take me seriously'I replied honestly
'Look at the bright side you can charm and make Brad Pit your sugar daddy' Thalia replied making everyone chuck.
'So coming back to the fact that you don't have anything scheduled and i am on leave and Thalia is freelancing, why don't we go on a trip to relax' Claire asked excitedly
' I am in' Thalia agreed taking a sip of her coffee
Now they both were looking towards me while i looked at sareena 'as you have nothings planned you can definately take a break u deserve it and so do I' Sareena grinned
' Looks like we are going on a trip girls' I said while everyone cheered .
