It's been 50 years since I ascended in a novel called, Who made me a Princess. This novel was once my most favorite one, I even bought the illustration one.
Not anymore.
After the hell I was put through, I hate this novel now, I hate this manhwa. It only gave me neverending pain and suffering. I don't even feel human anymore, I feel like an animal that was caged and played over.
I want to die.
I attempted many times, but I was always saved. Every attempt I had wasn't successful. Hah, I remembered pointing a knife at my neck. When I tried stabbing my neck, it sprang and turned into a fake knife from one of the circuses from Earth.
After at least 59 failed attempts, I finally gave up.
Now, I finally reached the Obelian empire. I didn't have any problems in passing the guards since I prayed for help. Money isn't a problem, too, since I can just pray and the room will be filled with endless gold.
I ate the bread that I bought from Athanasia's favorite bakery and took a stroll around the empire. I gave blessings and some food from the children who were living in the streets and dark alleyways.
I had no grudge against the children since they were still children, they didn't even exist when I was holes up in that basement. I shook my head to wipe away the dark memories.
I kept on taking a stroll around and kept on admiring the view of the Obelian empire until I came across a familiar gold blonde haired woman that was buying some sweets from a bakery.
I recognized the person and realized that it was Athanasia's mother, Diana. I was a tad surprised by her sudden appearance but am also now mesmerized by her beauty.
I can understand why and how Claude fell for her. I went to the lad and stood beside her at least a few meters away. I pressed my lips into a thin line before pointing at the strawberry cheesecake.
"I recommend this one, m'lady." I cooed before looking at her.
I saw how her eyes widened as she stared at the strawberry shortcake before she turned to me. She had a confused expression across her face before a smile formed her lips. She turned her hands into small fists and raised it to her chest before nodding eagerly.
"I'd like to have this... Strawberry cheesecake." Diana said after she turned to the counter.
I smiled slightly at her childish behavior. Yes, I hated what happened to me inside of their world. But I can't blame the mentioned characters in the novel because of what the extras did to me.
"Thank you, fine maiden. I'm Diana, a dancer from Siodonna." She introduced herself.
"You're welcome.. I'm Elyse." I showed her a slight smile.
"Where are you from, Lady Elyse? If you don't mind me asking, of course." Her voice was soothing for the ears.
"I came from a not so well known country.." I replied before I looked down at her stomach.
My eyes slightly widened when I felt a life force from her belly and realized that the story had already begun. I smiled before I reached out my hand to her stomach. She gasped when my hand glowed.
"I pray for your child to have a long and nice life.." I whispered before I retreated my hand and smiled at her.
She was staring at me with wide eyes as she tried to catch up with what just happened. I smiled at her before waving my hand as I turned around and started walking towards the crowd.
"Wait!" I heard her yell but I kept marching my way to the crowd to blend in and disappear.
I look forward to what the future awaits for the Obelian empire. It looks like I'll be witnessing every event that happened in the novel or the illustrated one, in person.
I snapped my fingers.
I stared down at the citizens from the tallest point of the empire. I immediately spotted the woman whom I left at the bakery and saw how she was looking around the crowd. Knowing that she was looking for me, I looked up to the sky.
I have an enormous amount of mana with the help of my prayers to God. This is one of the perks of being the Saintess or the one who has God's favor, having my prayers given to me in an instant once I ask for them.
"Will I ever die..?" I muttered underneath my breath.
My breath hitched as I crawled my arms around my body as I bent down. With heavy breaths, I raised my hands to my head and gripped my hair. Death is something that I wanted, yet it's the only thing God had never given to me.
"Why am I here? What's my purpose? Am I here just to suffer in pain?"
I ripped out my hair as I screamed in terror. I laughed as I felt the pain that was burning across my head. I can be considered a madman now. Heck, I can even be called an animal.
I stood up and stared up to the sky while laughing my guts out. The burning pain in my head was slowly fading away. My head must be healing right now, it's driving me insane.
"Someone... Anyone! Please kill me.."
I sobbed as I stared up and reached out my hand to the sky. Why did I end up hating the world of the novel I once loved? No.. Why did they have to force me into this world just for the sake of the creatures who only exist in the book? I can't help but cry out another scream.
"God..! Please! Just kill me..! I don't want to suffer any longer! Please.. take me!"
I was screaming for God to kill me until it was already night. My throat was burning but I didn't care and kept on chanting the prayer I wanted for God to give me.
Even though I knew that I'd never have that one prayer granted to me.
