Before I knew it, the night went well.

The princess and lady Margarita finally met in the ballroom. Lady Margarita met Claude afterwards, it was such a sight. Now, the two royals and the red knight had left the brown haired lady on her own.

"Lady Margarita?" I finally exposed myself by speaking up.

The chimera turned around. Her eyes landed on me, who was approaching her from behind with a smile across my face. Her face immediately lit up from seeing me before she dashed at me.

"Lady Elyse!" Her eyes were glistening with pure adoration. I widened my eyes when she recognized who I was.

"It seems like your memories have returned." She nodded eagerly before she grabbed my hands and pulled it towards her.

"May I ask why do you keep on burying the memories I have of us together?" She looked at me with her adorable puppy eyes which made me chuckle.

"Wouldn't want to blow up my cover on the young lord Alpheus. You've finally made your debut in society, Jennie." I chuckled at her behavior.

"Oh, I see.. But I must say, I'm so happy to see you again! You and Ijekiel even danced!" She was like a cute puppy, wagging their tail.

"I might've made Ijekiel upset." She smiled warmly before nodding.

"Well, you never paid him a visit for the past 6 years, not even once..! But I don't understand , Lady Elyse.. Why would he be upset with you, now?" She tilted her head in confusion.

"That.. I'm too embarrassed to mention the reason for my situation." Her shoulders slumped before it raised when she lit up again.

"Whatever it might be, I'll support you!" She said, full of determination.

"Silly little lady, how can you help me when you don't even know exactly what to help me with?" Pink hues dusted her soft cheeks.

"I-I'm sorry, lady Elyse." Her shoulders slumped as I pulled my hands away from hers so I could place one on her head and pat them.

"Don't worry, Jennie." Her eyes lit up once more when I called her with her nickname.

"Lady Elyse!" Her eyes turned glassy which made me giggle. I wiped her tears away with my thumb.

"You can help me by accompanying me on finding the young lord Alpheus." I booped her nose as she nodded.

"Then, let's start searching!"

"Lord Ijekiel..!" I turned my head to where the voice came from and saw one of the girls who debuted.

She had purplish long hair that ended on her waist. A sweet and warm smile covered her lips even though her face showed how nervous and shy she was. Her dress was red as wine, the design was quite childish yet it showed elegance in them.

"Ahh! I forgot to introduce myself. I am the daughter of Count Saville, Ariadne Saville." She bowed a little with her right hand on her heart before she stood straight.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, my lady. I presume you already knew who I am?" Her smile widened as she nodded.

"I can't help but approach you, lord Alpheus." I just gave her a smile.

"I see." I looked around the crowd, hoping to see the saintess.

"I-I was wondering if we could perhaps have a dance?" I turned to Lady Saville who had a blush across her cheeks. I knew her intention, but I'm already engaged.
