"YOU'RE RIDING WITH me because I physically don't know what to do. I need help. " Avery announced, bursting through the doors which lead to Madelyn's room. Her slightly heeled boots clicked loudly against the wooden floor, telling Maddy everything she needed to know about her friend's mood. Avery was restless. Maybe nervous? "But also, we've got a lot to talk about." She huffed out, hovering over Madelyn at her desk.

"Okay, yeah that's fine but can you stop breathing down my neck, you're making me nervous." Madelyn retorted with a smirk, adjusting the pins in her hair.

Avery shot her a glare through the mirror as their eyes met. "Sorry I'm projecting my emotions onto people now" she cringed, stepping back slightly, still close enough that Madelyn could feel her breath fanning onto her skin. "Anyway... hurry up, Alisa will literally kill us if we're late!" Suddenly, Maddy was thrusted up from her seat and pulled abruptly across the room. Avery shot a polite smile over her shoulder whilst ducking into the car but as soon as the door slammed shut behind her, Avery's face dropped. "I've got something to say and you can't freak out because then I'll freak out, okay" she rushed out in one breath.

"Why would I freak out?" Madelyn giggled before gasping in realisation, "Wait! Have you and Jamie kissed? Because if you have then I will freak out and I won't promise otherwise." Maddy's voice quickly became way too high, the excitement on her face almost comical.

"What? No." Avery denied.

"You're blushing." Maddy sang, wiggling her eyebrows, a grin tugging at her lips.

"I haven't kissed Jameson."

"Liar."

"Am not."

"So are."

"Fine, not like It's any of your business", Avery emphasised, "but we might have-"
