Chapter 2 | STRIKER: Clashing Steel

We all look like humans, but we are powerful weapons. The wisdom cube, they're a mysterious crystal substance acquired by humanity through their battle against the sirens. They are also the foundation upon which we were created. Filled with their power, we now have the strength to fight the sirens. It is the power of warships. Strong enough to tame an ocean and silence the sirens. Humanity reclaimed the seas with the help of the wisdom cubes. But it wasn't enough.

Some people wanted more. And the alliance eventually split into two. One side was called the Red Axis. This faction included the Sakura Empire and Iron Blood. Due to their desire to acquire the siren's power for themselves, they raised a rebellion against Azur Lane.

Even when facing our common threat, the Sirens. Conflict between human factions continues. The truth is war never changes, it's exactly the same no matter the era.

After their last battle against the Red Axis, who attacked the base of Azur Lane along with the assistance of mass-produced siren war machines, many of Azur Lane's members have taken some damages. None are life threatening but there are some bruises and scratches. But some won't be able to fight for a while as their ships have taken heavy damage...

[Wales]: "They've got us. I didn't expect them to attack us first."

[Illustrious]: "I'm not surprised that they've joined the Iron Blood... It's to be expected. But..."

[Wales]: "Perhaps they moved too soon... They don't know the siren's power, they don't know how dangerous it is."

[Illustrious]: "For now we need to focus on rebuilding. The main Royal Navy forces will be arriving soon. We mustn't be caught off gaurd ever again."

[Wales]: "Thank goodness for Eagle Union's Enterprise, She truly saved us... And that man that fought alongside her."

[Illustrious]: "Yes indeed. It was a surprise for everyone. But thankfully he's on our side. He's certainly a powerful fellow... But it was risky."

[Wales]: "We witnessed his limitless strength through our own eyes. He fought without a single hint of hesitation. Like a single drop of snow that threatens to become a deadly storm. And yet..."

[Illustrious]: "Let us not forget that if a sword isn't taken care of... The blade will easily dull and snap in an instant."

Speaking of which, Enterprise, as well as the other new addition, Y/n, were seen making their way to the base. Both of them docking their aircraft carriers. They were mostly silent towards each other, only really having first met mere minutes ago. But even so, the two quietly showed great respect for one another.
