It's been a few days since the last battle. Ever since then I've been working with Commander Ikumi as her assistant or rather her secretary would be the correct answer. On another note, Enterprise seems to be doing much better now. I originally planned on staying by her side to make sure she was at 100% recovery and also to prevent her from stepping foot into the water. In spite of that, it seems someone else has taken the initiative in looking after Enterprise. The kind lady looking after her, her name was Belfast if I recall and she's from the Royal Navy just like Monarch. Thinking about it now, it seems Enterprise and I are in the same boat, having to be watched over by those from the Royal Navy. Could this be a trend of some sort, I still have yet to adjust to the world's current era?
On that note, I've learned quite a good amount of what's been going on. To find out that my memory has been mixed up and blanked out- but I do remember some things. I remember my family, but to find out that one's older sister has given birth to a child and being told that said child is my niece who's now around the same age as I am is MIND BREAKING!
Living on base has allowed me to gain some new experiences. I got to meet new people, getting to know them. At first I thought I wouldn't fit right in, being a man and all, but these people... They're... Very nice. They accepted me with open arms, there's nothing I can do to repay them for their kindness. I'm truly grateful.
As of late, the base has been growing more and more as each day passes. Some stalls have been set up to sell goods and food. As of now there's only two camps that reside on base, even so those of both the Eagle Union, as well as the Royal Navy, have begun to form friendships with one another. An example could be those two destroyer girls and that little carrier, Laffey, Javelin, and Unicorn, they seem to be getting on fine.
Ever since being paired up with Monarch, things aren't exactly getting any better. She's... How should I put it without saying something rude? Ummm, She's... Yeah, she's like a spitfire. Everytime I try to talk, she glares at me with those soul piercing eyes of hers. And that tongue of hers is razor-sharp enough to slice me in two. But even so, the least I can do is help her. For someone like Monarch, one must have the patience of a saint. Either that or you'd have to be a down bad masochist. I'm starting to get a feeling that I may remind her of someone.
There's been a lot going through my mind ever since waking up. So much has changed about the world that I once knew. But the best I can do for now is to adapt and learn...

[Y/n]: "Ikumi, here's the last stack, it's not much, all there's left to do is adding your signature."
[Ikumi]: "Thank you, Y/n- Sorry I'm still getting used to the fact that you're my uncle."
[Y/n]: "It's alright, just call me Y/n. Now the more important papers are on top, be sure to read them carefully. Shall I get you something to drink in the meantime?"
[Ikumi]: "Yes, thank you. I'd appreciate it. You've been a lot of help."
