━━━━━━━ CASSIE DIDN'T stop taking to Percy, at the beginning she had felt a bit down, but it immediately passed.

He had got claimed and she hadn't, she had waited, prayed, strived for perfection just to get a silver of who her godly parent was.

He just appeared.

And Cassie was happy for him, because she didn't want Percy to go through the same thing she and so many others went through.

An error or miscalculation of the fates. She wanted to stop feeling as if she had to pick up the stars just to prove she wasn't a failure.

Since he had gotten claimed the other campers seemed to ignore him, even Annabeth had stopped talking as much to him. She got an idea why.

That night a particular bad nightmare woke up Cassie.

She grabbed her sweater and tip toed to get out of her cabin.

The nightmare had affected her more than she wanted to admit.

She looked at the stars, the cold air wrapping her up.

She walked into the forest, heading to the willow.

She felt someone staring.

"Come out whoever you are."

Percy came out with his hands held up, "you got me- you couldn't sleep too?"

She nodded, "your mom?"

He nodded, "yours?"

She nodded and went into the forest, "let's see the stars."

He followed, "let's see the stars."

Soon they saw the willow, a white blanket was hidden a crook of the tree, Cassie pulled it out and invited him to lay down.

The sky seemed to smile at them.

"How's everything going?"

He turned to look at her profile, "okay," he stopped, and remembered this was Cassie. "I find the place I'm not the weird kid but I get claimed and everyone begins ignoring me."

Cassie listened, "they'll come around, they find something to obsess and after a week forget it- last year," she snorted at the memory, "there was a conspiracy with Chiron's megaphone, everyone said each morning he woke us up earlier."

Percy looked at her, "really?"

Cassie laughed, "it gets worse, camp gathered up and managed to convince the Stolls to steal the megaphone- so when the Stoll's went they found Chiron with his curler, a face mask and clips in his hair."

Percy laughed at the image.

He immediately felt better.
