I quickly fell onto my knees next to him.

"No, no, no." I mumbled.

Blaine pressed on the wound and began calling for backup. I cupped Dream's face in my hands. His eyes were barely open.

"Dream, please. You can't do this to me. Please." I said, as tears began falling from my eyes.

I gently rubbed my thumb against the side of his cheek.

"Please." I sobbed.

He forced his eyes to stay open. He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers.

"Don't let me die alone, George. Please." He mumbled.

"No, don't say that. You can't die. You can't." I sobbed.

There was a small pool of blood forming by his body.

"I love you. I love you so much." He told me.

"Stop. Don't say that. You can't leave me." I cried.

His eyes slowly shut, and the grip on my hand loosened.

"No, no. Dream, please. Please. You can't do this to me. Please." I sobbed.

I watched his chest barely rise and fall. I heard an ambulance getting closer. Blaine kept his hands on the wound.

"He's gonna make it. I know he will." He stated.

"Karl, I am not watching another horror movie with you." I stated.

"Babe, please. This one isn't even that scary." He said.

"I don't -"

My phone began ringing. I grabbed it and clicked accept.

"Hey -"

"Sapnap, please. I need you guys here." George sobbed, sounding out of breath.

I panicked a bit and put the phone on speaker.

"What's going on? Where are you?" I asked.

"I-I'm at the hospital. Dream got shot. It's really bad. I-I don't know if he's gonna be okay." He stuttered.

I felt my heart drop.

"We'll be there soon." Karl answered for me.

George hung up. I felt my eyes watering.

"Hey, look at me." Karl said quietly.

I looked over at him. He gently cupped my face in his hands.

"He's gonna be okay. It's Dream. He'll pull through." He told me.

I nodded, and we both got off the bed. We left the room and went down the hall. Karl grabbed the car keys, and we left the apartment.

I feel like I can't breathe. I pulled my knees to my chest and put my head in my hands. Blaine had gone to the bathroom, so I'm all alone. I heard the automatic doors opened, and I glanced up. Sapnap and Karl. I quickly got out of my seat and hugged them.

"Have you heard anything yet?" Sap asked.

I pulled away from them.

"They said he needed surgery because the bullet got lodged in between his ribs." I told them.

"Did they give you like a survival rate or anything?" Karl asked.

I shook my head. We all sat down on the chairs in the waiting room. I put my head in my hands as tears slid down my face.
