"Stephan, where are you?"
Lord Asbury passed around his room, frustrated. He was too impatient to deal with clothes today.
Radcliff Taylor, his butler appeared and without speaking began working on his necktie.
Ashton Asbury was on a mission today and wanted everything to be perfect. He started the day off wrong by missing the morning ride with his good friend, Nathaniel Wintors. The two were inseparable since birth, being the same age and oddly so, different personalities.
Aston was bruding while Nathaniel was sunny.
Nathaniel married Seline Pendleton and fell into the title of Graces. The two being married for four years now with lovely twin boys were a match made in heaven. Aston saw less of his friend than he liked.
"Let me help you sir."
Aston put his arm through his waistcoat held out by Radcliff. He allowed Radcliff to help him finish dressing. This was rare as he insisted on doing so himself.
Radcliff has been with Aston since he was a child. He was getting much older.
"Thank you, Radcliff."
The ride to the Wintors was not a short one and it would be a stay in the area so Aston plan to stay in one of his homes out there.
Aston gather up some things and headed out. The carriage was waiting for him, packed as he requested and a bit more. The housekeeper, Mrs. Bethany Easton, was like a second mother. He grew up with her around. She was quite all knowing and endearing.
His own mother, Lady Victoria Asbury, and her were quite close and fond of each other.
Aston settle back in the carriage as his long began.
