Colby's POV

I managed to upload the video me and Sam had recorded earlier in the day in the evening. It was only a 10 minute video and didn't take ages to edit though.

~2 hours later~

I knocked at Sam's apartment door. He opened it and let me in.

"Our plan is working!" I said to him

"Wha-" He said confused at first but then remembered "OHHH! Yess!"

"Have you seen the comments on the video?" I asked him.

He shook his head so we sat down on his couch and scrolled through them. One of them said 'This is pointing all signs to solby being real' and another saying 'y'all I think solby is real'. We laughed at them all.

"Ok but seriously they are just gonna keep commenting when are we gonna say?" Sam asked me.

"I dunno." I said scrolling through #Solby fanart and liking all the good ones. I commented on some saying stuff like 'Imagine if this was real 🤭' and things like that.

I was trying to make them think it was real so that it would be easier to say. I saw Sam doing the same as me.

~1 day later~

(Trap boys+girls group chat)

Jake: Who's coming to the party tonight?

Corey: me and Devyn r!

Aaron: me!

Tara: I am

Kat: same!

Sam: sure

Colby: I'm free sure

Jake: ok it's at mine at 9pm till whatever ig

(Back to irl)

~9pm now~

Me and Sam were on our way to Jake's apartment for the party. He really shouldn't of had the party at his he's definitely gonna get kicked out one day. Me and Sam were just hanging out at my place before the party.

When we got there loads of people were already there. (A/N warning I've never been to a party so this is gonna suck) A bunch of music played and people were dancing.

I saw Kat come over to me and Sam obviously drunk and dragged Sam away. He looked at me in a look that said 'wtf is going on'.

(Sam's POV bc I can)

Kat dragged me away. I could smell the alcohol in her breath.

"Hey Sammm" She said holding onto me. She pulled me into a corner and kissed me. I tried to pull away but she kept holding onto me.

"No Sammy stay with meee" she half slurred. She was drunk but not super drunk. She got drunk really easily. I could tell her friends were watching because they kept calling at her saying well done. When I managed to pull away I went straight over to Colby who hugged me. I felt tears going down my face but I buried my face in his shoulder so no one would see. I could hear Kat's friends cheering for her.

"Are you ok?" Colby asked.

I nodded but wasn't 100% sure. He looked straight (gay) at me. I saw Corey walk over.

"Are you ok brother?" He asked "I saw what happened. I think she has liked you for a while now."

I nodded to him and he walked away. Me and Colby sat on the couch on our phones. We both had cups of water as we didn't really want to drink. I was scrolling through #Solby edits and liking and commenting on some.

(This probably sucks ngl. I don't wanna make Kat sound like the bad guy but I need to add drama so sorry to everyone who loves Kat. Ngl don't rlly watch her vids but I love her songs. Also whilst writing this all I was listening to was Kat, Jake and Lovejoy. Also long chapter. Also pls vote and comment if u like this and long Author note lol.)
