(Colby's POV)
(Self harm so don't feel u have to read this chapter)
I started to walk to my apartment. I felt bad for leaving Sam but I just felt like being by myself for a little while.
I fumbled for my keys in my pocket and unlocked my door. I locked the door behind me and just flopped onto the couch. I must of fell asleep but woke up the next day by getting a call from my mum.
I picked up the call to hear my mum sounding worried.
"Hey mum? What's wrong?" I asked her
"It's about your brother. They said that it's only a 50:50 chance of him surviving." My mum said worriedly
"W-what-" I stuttered
"We just have to pray for him." My mum siad.
"Yeah." I said about to cry
"I'll leave you alone now. I love you bye." My mum said.
"Love you bye." I said before hanging up on he.
I felt more tears fall down my face. I got up and walked over to the kitchen to grab a snack. I was hungy so I grabbed a banana but took a bite and found it hard to swallow. I ended up throwing the banana in the trash and just sat on my couch. My leg twitched and I couldn't sit still.
(Colby blakcs out)
I woke up to find myself lying on the bathroom floor scratches all over my arms. I saw blood on my arms and felt faint.
"What happened?" I stuttered talkijgb to myslef.
I stood up and looked at the ground to see a razor blade next to where I was sitting.
I went out of the bathroom shutin the door behind me. I heard a knocking at my front door and froze. I didn't want anyone to see me like this.
"Colby?" The voice sounded concerned and farmilir. "Colby?" I realised it was Sam.
"I'm gonna go get my key ok?" He said and I heard footsteps walking away.
I felt myself freeze again and just stayed standing there for about 30 seconds before feeling faint.
