Y/N POV:
I hated the winters ball, I didn't know why I hated it I just did. Five seconds into it I looked over to see Alexander, Burr and Laurens doing this weird dance, they were trying to flirt with this lady. I smirked before walking towards the girl. I can flirt just as well as they can. I took her hand and kissed her knuckles which made her blush and her date gently took her away from me, I turned back to see a very surprised Alexander, Laurens and Burr. I laughed at their faces before I walked off and into the crowd.

As I was walking I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Charlie's Lee. "Y/N, care for a dance?" He asked. "I'm good sorry", I said to him, "What do I need to do to prove that we can be together" he asked. "Nothing I'm just not interested" I said to him as I walked off. "So is that a yes?" He yelled, "Fuck off!" I yelled back as I disappeared into the crowd.

As I was walking around I suddenly felt a hand around my mouth. "Don't scream or anything. Don't go to your brother either. We're leaving now" the voice said in my ear. Out of pure instinct I stepped on the guys show causing him to wince in pain and he let me go! I quickly speed walked into the crowd, the guy was following me! I quickly kept walking until I saw someone I knew. I walked up to him and he backed into me, he looked (down/up/at) me and his face turned to concern

"Y/N are you-"
"Dance with me"

Laurens POV:
Despite what Alexander says about me having a crush on Y/N I have decided to try and ask her for a dance. But the question is how? Here's a better question, why do I care? Also why am I scared of Lafayette seeing? Do I like Y/N? Just as my mind was entering an overload I crashed into someone. I turned around and looked (down/up/at) her to see Y/N looking terrified.

"Y/N are you-"
"Dance with me" she said quickly. "what?" I asked, "I'll explain later just please" she said desperately. I took her hand and we walked to the dancefloor. I watched Y/N check behind her. "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah, I'll explain in a bit" she said to me as we began to dance. After we finished I looked at her and sighed. I liked Y/N.
