A sky full of stars and he was staring at her - Atticus
--------
"You shouldn't be outside the gate alone." Bellamy says to me.
"I'm not alone, You're here. Always lurking." I say, but mutter the last part not turning around. He comes into my view as he lays down next to me, head on the log next to mine. Every inch of my body on the right side, I can feel him. It sends a shiver down my spine, butterflies in my stomach.
"What are you doing? He pauses looks at me and mutters "and I don't lurk, I observe." Which in return makes me roll my eyes. "Just thinking." I say
"Thinking about what, sweetheart?" He replies, biting his lip. Turning his gaze to the sky.
"Only about you." I say playfully laughing. It's now his turn to roll his eyes as he sighs loudly, "I know I'm hard to resist."
I snort rather loudly causing him to look at me and laugh. "I think that's the first time I've heard you laugh since we've been down here." He says. I drop my smile as I nod my head looking away. "I miss the time when it was always real." I reply biting my lip waiting for him to answer but he doesn't. Instead he takes my hand and lays it in his lap and runs small circles on it. I want to fight with him, I want to yell and scream at him. He's so bipolar. But I don't, I'm to exhausted mentally and physically. So I accept the silence and the comfort of him. It's peaceful.
I pull my hand out of his and line my hands up with the stars, counting as it takes me a minute. "What are you doing?" Bellamy asks as he looks at me wildly. "Thirty degrees north and 15 degrees West you'll see the ark." I say. He looks up and nods. "How'd you do that?" He says and holds up his hands trying to mock mine.
"Not like that." I laugh.
"Well help me then." He laughs back as he meets my eyes. Grabbing one of his hands, I turn it to the right direction. "Norths that way honey." I say as he rolls his eyes again and drops his hands all together. "I know I just wanted you to grab my hand." He smirks.
"Shut up, don't you have girls to go sleep with?" I say with a small laugh. I seem to be doing that around him more. He's always had that effect on me.
"Nope all yours, sweetheart." He replies popping the nope out of his mouth. I get caught off guard by a burning figure in the sky. "Bellamy." I whisper, pointing. He looks up and his eyes search the sky. A parachute shoots out. "We better get back." He says offering me his hand to pull me up. I accept as he does so with ease. A rustle in the bushes making me turn my head. I don't see anything and I turn back to Bellamy who is waiting. We enter camp as everyone stares at the sky, whispering.
"We wait until sunrise!" He yells as he goes into his tent. I follow him to object and stop at the entrance, I watch as grabs a knife and sticks it in his pocket. "Bellamy?" I question. He turns around now facing me. "Stay here King." I shake my head as I follow him out of his tent to the gate. He turns around, fear in his eyes. "For once Kingsley, Please just do what I say." He pleads.
"Okay, okay." I say. His eyes search my face to see if I'm lying. Once he's sure I'm not he turns and walks through the gate. Octavia rushes up to me and grabs my arm. "Were not actually staying here right?" She asks.
I give her a "Are you serious" look. "Of course not, were following him." I say dragging her through the gate. Octavia and I walk through the woods together, trying to find Bellamy. We've been catching up over the past few days but not as much as I would like too. It's like I finally have my befriend/little sister back. Like Bellamy I would do anything for her. We walk for a short period of time before we spot him, Octavia runs to him. "Bellamy, what are you doing?" She yells to stop him. He turns around a face of annoyance clearly written across his, as his eyes shift to mine. He quickly looks back to Octavia.
