Spoiler, we all die in the end. - Atticus

------------------

I lead the way to the drop ship, Clarke and Finn carrying Jasper inside it. I was starving but Jasper seemed more important at the moment. Food could wait. I help Clarke as much as I could bandaging Jasper up with my little medical knowledge, but we got it done. I walk out of the dropship, Clarke in tail. I stop at Finn's feet, in front of us kids lined up to trade the wristbands for food. I open my mouth to say something about it before I was cut off by Clarke.

"There taking off their wristbands for food? I won't do it." Clarke says shaking her head astonished at the site in front of us.

"You won't have to." Finn says marching to the fire. I follow after him, I shot the damn thing for Christ's sake. Murphy puts his hand out to stop us.

"Woah you think you play by different rules?" Murphy says. Finn looks at me before replying back to Murphy. "I thought there were no rules."

I smirk at Murphy's face before taking my own stick of meat. Looking up I catch Bellamy's eyes. The fire dancing in them. I walk away without anyone questioning me. Just to turn around to see Bellamy punching a kid in the face for doing the same thing.continue to walk away, what a jerk. I I sit on a log, not far from the fire, eating. When I hear a little girl shriek. I walk up to where she's sleeping. She couldn't have been more than twelve. "Hey kid, wake up." I say as I crouch near her. She wakes up fully, looking around camp. Her eyes settling on the ground as she pulls her knees to her chest. "It was just a bad dream, do you wanna talk about it." I reassure her.

"It's my parents, they were floated. I see them in my dreams." She cries. I pull her in close. I may be a killer but when it comes to children the line stops. "I understand, I lost a lot of people that way too." I point towards the sky. "Do you see that bright star?" I say as she nods her head. "That's the ark, and I think, whatever happened up there stays up there and we can move past it. It can't touch you anymore." I say in a soft voice.

"Do you really believe that?" Sincerity in her voice as she speaks.

"I think we have to, to survive." I say in complete truth. I hug her once more before I walk away towards the dropship to get some sleep.

----- Next day

I wake up, and change into the only spare set of clothes I have. Before I was dressed in a long sleeve grey shirt, and some black jeans. Today a tank top that's practically shredded and another set of black jeans. I pull on my boots and grab my bag before exiting the dropship. Searching for someone in particular. Miller. I find him sitting on a long with his friends. "Hey Nate." I shyly say making him look up. I nod my head for him to get up and follow me. His friends whistle at us walking away, them obviously not knowing Nate's into guys. I smirk as I see Bellamy watching us. He follows me into the woods not far from camp. Nate stops me before I speak "Look I'm sorry, but you're not really my type. If you get what I mean." I smile a small smile just to let him know I'm not upset about it.

"Nate, I know okay, I just wanted to give you this." I say as I pull out the hat and letter sergeant Miller had given me.

"What is--" Nate starts to speak confusion written on his face. I stop him before he finishes.

"Um, your dad was my guard while I was locked up. He felt really bad he couldn't see you before we left so he wanted me to give this to you." I state. He opens the letter but doesn't start to read it fully before he looks up.

"Thank you, You have no idea how much this means to me." He pulls me in a side hug before he quickly lets go. I leave him to read the letter alone but not before I tell him not to sweat it. As I make my way back to camp, I see the hunting party leaving and I follow them through the trees. Were a little ways from camp before the guy's spot a boar. "She's mine." I hear Bellamy say but before he throws his axe a twig snaps across from me and Bellamy turns around and throws it that way. I quickly throw my knife towards the boar. It finds its way right into the boars neck. Perfect shot. Everyone turns around to see where the knife came from and stares at me, but I'm already walking towards Bellamy, Atom and the little girl from last night. Just in time to see Bellamy handing her a knife. Bellamy notices me and stops as Atom and Charlotte start walking to find the rest of the group.
