Welcome ..Back.3

The plane ride was quick.Mom and i were standing at the baggage claim before we knew it and my mom crashed into the person i knew as Uncle Jack.He hugged her so tight before he let her go and Aunt Billie hugged mom.Uncle Jack looks at me and i felt his pain. "Goddess."He said softly and stepped forward to me.His hand touched my face and i look at him. It had been a while since i saw them last.

Quickly Uncle Jack crushed me into a hug and rubbed my back. "Jedd.."He trailed off but i felt it.I understood.I hug him just as tight and let myself feel all his emotion.It felt nice.The love that engulfed me.From someone who knew my dad as well as mom did.He let go and cleared his throat. "Bil..look how tall he is."Uncle Jack said and Aunt Billie smiles nodding. "Handsome little nugget."She says making my mom smile and her hand rests on her stomach. "Goddess..you grew."Aunt billie says and i chuckle hugging her.She laughs and rubs my back as she hugs me.

Mom and Aunt Billie chat away as we walk toward the parking lot.Uncle Jack pulled along moms suitcase and his eyes took in the sight of them.I didnt understand the look. Then i felt it, the love for his Alpha.
Mom was still the Alpha in his eyes.I look down at my feet as we walked until i felt Uncle Jacks eyes on me. He didnt say anything until we were at the car. "How about you and i run the territory when we get to the line?"He asks and my wolf agrees.I look to mom and she smiles shrugging. "Up to you sweetie.."She said gently and brushed my hair from my face. "Just be careful whatever you do."she says making me nod. "Run."I say softly and she nods. We get in the car with mom driving and i sat in the back seat with Uncle Jack.

The ride was quiet letting whatever soft music that played fill the car.I looked out to the snow covered area and felt the humans emotions as we passed.Mom drove fast so i was only able to feel the basic colors.some felt pure emotions entirely one color others felt so many at once.
The second we reached the tree line my mom slowed to a stop. "Protect my son."She said gently and Uncle Jack smiled. "Of course Alpha."He said before leaning forward to kiss Aunt Billie. "See you at the pack house."He says before slipping out of the car.I follow and Mom nods at me, she waits for a second before she takes off.Uncle Jack pat my back and sighed with a smile. "Cmon."He says gently and walks into the trees.I slowly follow listening to the snow crunch under my feet and begin to undress.Uncle jack folds his clothes into a pile and shoves the pile into his shirt, so i do the same.In a matter of seconds Uncle Jack is standing on four legs shaking out his coat.i take a second and the sound of my bones snapping fills my ears before the pain ever hits me and when i open my eyes again im standing on four legs.Uncle Jack nudges his head affectionately on my shoulder before he scoops up his pile of clothes in his mouth.I follow and let him begin to lead me to the Saviors territory.I hear his thoughts in my head as our minds have linked.He remembers my father, how he would fill with excitement when he was running.How much he loved the feeling of being free.He remembered my mother and the days she and my father ran together.I loved the way he remembered my father.Strong and loving.Carefree and happy.My wolf howled in happiness as it filled me.My wolf never felt so happy.

Uncle Jack howled when we reached the inner area of the Saviors territory, and he nudged me. 'Go shift.' He said and i hop away and shift instantly.Id never expected to feel so eager to be here.I didnt expect to feel so at home, so calm.I felt light, i wonder if my mom ever felt this way, if my dad had.I made my way back out to my uncle and he was pulling on a shirt just as we heard other howls.He smiled seeing me and pat my back again. "Welcome to the Saviors pack house."He said as we walked through the tree line.The house was a simple one, again covered in snow, but one i do vaguely remember living in for a bit of time.My mother had a rough time going back when dad died it was very cloudy for me since i was so young. "Or welcome back i should say..We made your moms old room into yours..For the time being."Uncle Jack said and i looked at him as we slowly came to a stop. "You didn't have to uncle-"He cut me off gently. "No one had the heart to use it Jedd...it was always gonna be yours and your moms.."he said trailing off before he sighed and gently pressed his hand into my shoulder motioning for me to keep walking. "Plus we had to expand the Saviors all found mates..all had kids..so you would basically have the house to yourself,"He said as we neared the house. "Until each savior child has taken their place in the pack alongside you."Uncle Jack spoke like i had already accepted the title.The whole time mom spoke about it with me and the entire trip over i was certain i was gonna hand over my title to the beta but now. I wasnt so sure now.I hadnt been here but an hour and i felt like i lived here forever.
Memories of walking up these same steps flew through my mind from when i was a kid.My heart raced as i passed through the threshold.i was warm here even the cold blanket of white didn't deter me from this land.I think the second i stepped onto the land id known, this is my birthright, my rightful place.I was finally home.

My lovely jedd has started to accept his role.I guess he just needed to come to this decision without looking at his mother for approval.He fell into it on his own.please vote, comment, and share it helps and means a lot..(:
