Jedd
I look around the room, one that forever ago a crib stood for me in that corner. The walls were painted a very light almost white grey. There was a flat screen mounted on the wall opposite the bed, which also looked new.The room itself was warm, and felt like home.I set my bags on the floor and walked to the window.Biting the inside of my cheek, i looked outside at my mom who was greeting my aunts and uncles and cousins. We hadnt seen them in a while, my eyes took each one of them in.Uncle Jacks daughters had his smile, i could see them from here.Though, they were Aunt Billies replicas.Aunt Rebekah had one son biologically who was as dirty blonde as she was and his eyes were just the slightest brighter than hers,Aunt Rebekahs mate, Aunt Kate had a daughter and somehow she was blonde as Aunt Rebekah but her eyes as chocolate as Aunt Kates.I knew Aunt Rebekahs son was my Gamma Savior, not only could i feel the connection to him already but like me he was the only one the gene could have possibly passed to. Uncle Ians kids were a mix of him and Aunt Jamie.Chocolate hair and bright blue eyes and smiles so brilliantly happy. Aunt Hailees daughters had the curliest blonde hair and they had Heterochromia eyes. One was rich chocolate brown swirling with gold the other crystal blue but the edges of their irises tinted almost turquoise. It was beautiful.
Slowly, i sat on the bed and took a second to breath.I just had to take a second. It was a lot to take in and a lot to change my mind about. "Jedd."I heard from downstairs and sigh softly before i rub my hands on my thighs. "Coming."I say softly and stand up.As i walk downstairs i take in the emotion that was flooding.happiness, peace, excitement. As i stepped into living room i was overwhelmed, everyone was there.I pulled it together and greeted everyone, embracing the feeling of love.

Then when i got to Aunt Hailee and Uncle Chance id noticed the weirdest pull to one of the twins. Then my eyes locked with hers and my wolf howled. The adults in the room froze as they felt it.My body stilled and my wolf whined. The twin that was noticeably smaller, obviously softer, and connected to her sister at the hip, she was my mate. "Amara?"I heard someone call her name but my mate looked to the person who called and hummed. Her beautifully sculpted face filling with confusion.Amara was her name and id known that but i hadnt seen them in so long.I was a child the last id seen them, shes nothing but a child now. My wolf whined wanting nothing but for her to feel as safe as possible in his presence. At that millisecond, id decided i would stay, whatever the consequences.Id do nothing but make absolutely sure the saviors would keep her safe.My mom pulled me from the trance i was stuck in and i nod slowly at her.She pulled me away but let me keep Amara in my line of sight. She understood the need. Aunts Hailee, Rebekah, Kate, Jamie, Billie, uncles Chance, Ian, and Jack separated us and the their children in separate rooms.I was quiet as my gaze flittered between Amara and the former saviors. "Does this change your mind about the Alpha title at all?"I heard and looked to the voice. My mom. "Changes everything..."i say softly. "Im staying."I say and my mom smiles. "Hailee.Chance any objections?"She asked and my eyes shot to them suddenly a bit worried. Hailee smiles her shoulders relaxed and she shook her head. "None here."she said and Chance only held his arm around Hailee and shook his head. "None."he said and my wolf whined making me turn back to look at Amara. She was playing with her sister and Rose.My wolf was eased as he took her in. This was the most unexpected and the best thing that couldve happened. It was the reason i felt so complete the second i stepped on land. She was the reason.
