'Til you put me down, oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So, shame on me now

Now I'm lyin' on the co...
The sun sparkled off the Hawaiian water. Hunter was leaned back in a beach chair enjoying the sun. It warmed him. Sonoma was beautiful, but it didn't have the glistening sand and clear blue waters. He looked out towards the water where Ryder was surfing. He was always the athlete of the family.
"Yo, Hunt!" Jules slapped his chest.
"What's up?"
"Hannah Reyna is here in Oahu."
"Really?" Hunter perked up, "how do you know?"
"Her story. She posted," Jules handed Hunter his phone.

"Wow. She looks great. That soccer player is lucky," Hunter sighed and took a sip of his beer.
"I'm pretty sure they broke up again."
"Again? Why?"
"Almost all the pictures of them together are gone," Jules explained, lifting up his water bottle.
"Wow."
Hunter clicked on Hannah's profile. Just like Jules said, her posts had been cleared from showing her soccer player beau. He scrolled through looking at her pictures.
She was stunning. He had definitely had developed a crush on the actress after he saw her in Mission Impossible: Fallout the year before. He instantly started following her on Instagram and was pleasantly surprised when she followed him back.
Hunter had never DMed her even though he wanted to. He didn't because of her boyfriend. They had been posting and going strong when Mission Impossible came out. A couple months later, their accounts and bios were wiped clean of each other. Just when Hunter had worked up the nerve to message Hannah, she posted a picture kissing Christian.
"Hm," Hunter handed Jules his phone back.
"That's it?"
"Yeah?"
"Hunter!"
"Jules!"
"Dude, let's go find her," Jules grinned.
"Cuz that doesn't sound creepy and stalker like," Hunter rolled his eyes.
"I mean not really," Jules shrugged, "you're on the same island."
"Yoooooo!" Ryder came running up the beach towards them, surfboard under his arm, "you won't believe what just happened!"
"What?" Jules asked.
"I just met Hannah Reyna!"
"WHAT?!" Hunter's voice went up three octaves, "where?!"
"At the rental shop. Her family was returning from being out on jet skis. Hunter, she's so nice!"
"Hunter, go get her! She's single!" Jules slapped him on the back.
"She's right there," Ryder gestured to where the actress was standing on the beach with her phone pressed to her ear.
"Oh wow," Hunter took a deep breath.
He focused on the brunette. She was pacing around making wild arm gestures. She stopped and used her shoulder to hold her phone to her ear while she tied her long hair up into a messy bun. She straightened back up and placed a hand on her hip. Hannah was wearing a bright red bikini. The top didn't have any straps, and the bottoms were very small, leaving very little to the imagination. His jaw twitched.
"Stop being a little bitch and go talk to her. Just say hi," Ryder hit his arm.
"Do you need a wing man?" Jules asked.
"Yeah," Hunter nodded.
"Gotchu," Jules stood up, "let's go."
"Good luck," Ryder grins.
Hunter stood up. Jules gave him a big goofy grin. Hunter's heart started racing. He could hear the blood roaring in his ears. He looked further up the beach and saw that the Reynas had started making their own camp. Hannah had moved further down the beach. Her phone was still pressed to her ear.
"STELL, I DON'T CARE THAT HE'S YOUR BROTHER! TELL HIM TO LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!" Hannah screamed into her phone, "HE BROKE UP WITH ME!"
"Woah," Jules muttered, "sounds like the baller fumbled it bad."
"I'd guess so."
"Yeah. I'll still come to your going away party. You're my best friend no matter what," Hannah switched her phone to her other hand, "love ya too, sis. Talk soon."
Hunter watched as Hannah sat down in the sand. She tucked her phone into her too before covering her hands. He could tell by the way her shoulders were shaking, she was crying.
"Oh," Hunter bit his lip.
"Time to swoop in like Prince Charming. You got this," Jules grabbed Hunter's shoulders and squeezed them, "go get her, tiger."
Hunter nodded and took a deep breath. He kept walking along his path, trying not to make it obvious that he was heading towards her. He stopped a few feet away before walking over.
"Hey, are you okay? Do you need anything?" Hunter crouched down in front of her.
Hannah looked up at him. Her eyes were red and puffy. She wiped some tears away, "oh sorry. I didn't mean to bother you. My boy-ex-boyfriend is being an asshole."
"I'm sorry to hear that. Can I get you a shave ice?"
"Uhm," Hannah hesitated.
"You look like you need some cheering up, and I know the best place just a little bit further down the beach," he tilted his head at her.
Hannah looked at him and bit her lip before nodding, "okay."
"Great," he stood up and offered her his hand.
Hannah delicately accepted. He helped her to her feet. Hunter pushed his aviators on top of his head and gave her a warm smile.
"I'm Hunter."
"I know who you are," she smiled, "thank you."
"Of course. You're too pretty to be crying in paradise. I'm going to make it my mission to make laugh."
"I like the sound of that."
Hunter held his arm out to her, "shall we?"
"We shall," she nodded and linked her arm through his.
