Indio, California"Are you sure you have to go?" Hunter tan his fingers through his hair with a frown.
"Yeah," Hannah nodded. She was finishing packing. She had a red eye out of LAX.
"You're going to miss Chris Stapleton," he sighed.
"I know. I'm super disappointed, but I need to get to Dortmund."
"Okay," he nodded.
Hannah could tell that he was not happy. Hunter wrapped his arms around her waist as she continued to pack her suitcase. She carefully folded the clothes that she didn't wear. Hunter kissed the back of her neck.
Hannah moved into the bathroom and gathered her things up. She looked at herself in the mirror. She finally looked like herself again. The dark circles and bags under her eyes were gone. Her cheekbones, while always prominent, didn't look like they were they were popping out of her skin. Her cheeks finally didn't look sunk in anymore.
Hunter and Hannah had taken a more relaxed approach to the final bits of wedding planning. While it was a big deal to move things from Hawaii to Las Vegas, it had been relatively painless. Hunter had been in charge of it for the most part, wanting Hannah to relax and take time to recharge.
"What time are you leaving?"
"Your driver is getting me at 2:15 am."
Hunter groaned, "that's like an hour away."
"I know."
She turned around and wove her fingers together on the back of his neck. Hannah rose to her tip toes, and their noses brushed. Hunter squeezed her hip. He kissed her lips softly.
"I love you," he pulled her in for a hug.
"I love you too. Go to bed with me?"
"Of course."
They walked over to the bed and climbed into it. Hunter laid on his back. Hannah laid down next to him with her head on his chest. He wrapped his arm around her with his hand on her butt. She closed her eyes with a content sigh.
"Wow," Christian's eyes grew large.
Hannah was modelling different dresses for the People's Choice Awards. It was her first big red carpet event. She was incredibly nervous, but Christian had already promised he would go with her. That definitely helped calm her nerves.
"I take that to mean you like?"
"Definitely."
Hannah could see Christian's eyes taking her in. She was modelling a blue silk dress. It was a bit low cut and came together at the left hip. There was also a thigh high split that showed off her toned legs. It was essentially backless.
Christian licked his lips before standing up. He strode over to her. He placed his hands on her hips. She tossed her arms around his neck. Christian leaned down and started kissing her neck. She closed her eyes and ran her fingers through his hair.
"Chris," she mumbled.
"You look incredible, babe."
"Do you have an outfit to match me?"
"I'm sure I do, and if I don't, I will find one."
"I love youuuu," she drew out the last word.
"I love you more," he kissed her cheek, "now go change so we can eat."
"You don't think I should try on any more dresses?"
"I don't think anything will top this one."
"Not even a red dress?"
"Not even a red one," Christian shook his head.
A big smile spread across her face. She leaned in and kissed him quickly. Christian grabbed her hips and pulled her close so there was no space between their bodies. He kissed her again. Before Hannah knew it, they were making out.
His lips were soft yet firm against hers. He tasted like peppermint. She gripped his shoulders while his fingers skimmed up and down the exposed skin on her back.
"Ahem!"
Hannah jerked away from kissing Christian. She saw one of the store employees standing there. The older woman's nose was crinkled and her arms were folded. Hannah felt a blush creep into her cheeks.
"Do you want to try on more dresses, Miss Reyna?"
"No, thank you. This one is perfect."
"Okay. I'll ring it up as soon as you're changed."
"Thank you."
The woman nodded and walked away. Hannah covered her face with her hands turning back into Christian's chest. She felt him chuckle before she lightly slapped his chest.
"Chris!"
"What?" He was clearly amused.
"That was so embarrassing!"
"You're embarrassed to kiss me? Ouch, that hurts a lot."
"That's not what I meant!"
"I know what you meant. Go change, Han."
She rolled her eyes but nodded. She pulled away and started walking back towards her fitting room, "don't follow me," she said flirtily over her shoulder.
"Don't tempt me with a good time, Princess," Christian smirked.
Hannah quickly changed back into her t-shirt and denim cut off shorts. She pulled threw her head down and gathered her hair into a high pony tail before swirling it into a top knot. She grabbed her purse and opened the door.
Christian was standing not too far away. He reached into the dressing room and grabbed the hanger with her dress. She kissed his cheek.
"I'm proud of you, Hannah Rose."
"Thank you, Christian. I'm glad you're by my side for this."
"I wouldn't be anywhere else," he kissed her nose.
A loud noise scared Hannah. She gasped and sat straight up. A groan next to her made her look over. A small piece of Hannah was almost disappointed that she was cuddled up into Hunter's side.
"It was just a dream," she sighed.
"What?" Hunter's voice was thick with sleep.
"Nothing, babe. I love you. Get some sleep. I'll be back in a few days."
"M'kay," his eyes closed again, "I love you."
"I love you too."
"Gimme a kiss?"
Hannah leaned over and kissed Hunter. His hand went to the back of her head. She gently brushed his cheek as they kissed. He pulled back slightly. Hannah smiled down at him. He leaned up and kissed her nose.
"Safe travels. Let me know when you get to Dortmund?"
"Mhm. I'll be there by tomorrow."
"Okay. Good luck."
"Gio's gonna need it," Hannah joked.
"Give him hell."
"You know I will."
"That's my wife."
