Best Part || Jamie Flatters

a/n: i'm so so sorry i haven't updated in so long!! i have had no motivation at all to write.

This happens right after the wedding by the way, they're at the house.

"No I swear you broke it!" Trinity exclaims.

"I did not break it. It was Jamie." Jack says making Jamie lift his head from my shoulder.

"No I didn't it was Valeria."

"Okay are we just putting the blame on someone for the fun of it? Because I know I didn't break it."

There was a piece of equipment that ended up broken on set once, everyone in the young cast got put in a room and a lecture from Jim. We still don't know who broke it because either it wasn't any of us, or the persons too scared to admit it because it's been so long since it happened.

"I didn't either!" Everyone yells. Andres and Sofia are looking at all of us like we're crazy at this point.

"Okay then who was it?" I ask basically done with this conversation. We've gotten nowhere. This started almost half an hour ago and we still haven't even come up with an idea of who it could be.

"What if it was someone in the adult cast?" Trinity suggests.

Jamie shakes his head. "No they're all mature enough to just admit a mistake, we weren't."

Trinity gasps. "What if it was Britain?" We all pause and think for a moment.

"You know what it could be him... I don't remember him even trying to defend himself that night when we all had dinner." Bailey says breaking the silence.

Finally, some progress. I feel Jamie lay his head back on my shoulder and sigh.

"I can't believe you just blamed me for it." I say quietly so only he hears it.

"I had to get the blame off of me, I know I didn't do it."

"Yeah and you know I didn't do it either." He looks up at me. "I know I just wanted to make you mad." I shove him off me playfully. He laughs and wraps his arm around my shoulders to pull me against him. He presses a kiss to the top of my head then lays his head on mind.

"You guys are disgusting." Sofia says with a roll of her eyes. She has a subtle smile on her lips so we know she's just joking around.

We laugh.

Eventually we start up a new conversation.

My mom and Daniel are staying in a hotel tonight, thank god. I do not even want to think about they could be doing.

It is very late, I'm trying to stay awake because everyone else wants to talk their left over energy out.

Eventually I do fall asleep on Jamie's shoulder and I feel a soft shake on my shoulder that wakes me up. I see Jamie standing over me.

"Let's go to your bed come on." He whispers. I look around and see Trinity and Jack asleep on the couch, Bailey is trying to wake them up so they can move up stairs where we have two beds for them.

Jamie drags me by the hand up the stairs and into my room.

I changed as soon as we got home so I'm just gonna crash. Jamie turns on my light and I walk directly to my bed where I lift the sheets and get comfortable.

"Alright good night Valeria." Jamie says when he crouches down next to the bed to meet my face.

"Wait stay." I say without really thinking and grab his hand. I then lift the sheets and slide over. Jamie thinks for a second. "You sure?" I nod. He walks over to the light switch to turn off the lights before walking back to the bed and laying next to me. He faces me and rests a hand on my waist. I turn around and scoot closer. His arm tightens around me until my back is pressed to his chest.

I smooth my hand over Jamie's and just trace shapes on his hand until I feel his breathing even out so I know he's asleep. I match my breathing with his.

I laugh softly at nothing. I'm just so happy.

a/n: I know this is so short but i haven't updated in so long so this is just mostly a filler

i'll try to update more often ! i haven't had much motivation for writing lately, and i'm not sure this will be done by the time i start school anymore,  since that's in a week now.. i don't wanna go at all. it will also be my hardest year yet so i have no idea when exactly this will be done.. i'll try to finish it before all the hard stuff comes.
