Three Years Ago...

I walk into the cafeteria area looking for anything to eat. I haven't eaten in hours, and Jim just let us go get food since we weren't doing anything while they were setting stuff up. Jack is sitting at one of the tables with his down.

I've noticed that it seems like he doesn't get much sleep at night. He's always sleeping, whenever and wherever. I pull back a chair to sit next to him, and he wakes up startled at the sound.

"Did I fall asleep?" I nod. I hear someone's footsteps get closer, and I see Valeria walk through the door. Her face immediately lights up when she sees us and smiles. She sees how tired Jack looks, and her eyebrows furrow, a frown taking over her face.

"You're still not getting enough sleep?" She asks him as she gets closer.

I can't help but stare at her. She's beautiful, can you really blame me? She looks at me for a second, and my heart skips a beat. I finally turn to look at Jack, and he shakes his head.

"Have you tried chamomile tea and a show or movie before bed? It always works for me." She says as she sits across from us at the table. "No, I haven't tried that yet, I'll try it, thanks." She smiles at him, then looks at me.

I get nervous and awkwardly look everywhere but at her.

"What about you? Do you sleep well?" I nod. She makes me too nervous to say a word. "That's good." I smile at her not being able to hold it back anymore.

These past few weeks, I couldn't help but start crushing on Valeria. I've been trying my hardest to get over it, but she's always everywhere, so she's constantly on my mind. I have no idea how to get over her. I'm pretty sure she has a boyfriend maybe thinking of that will make me get over her.

Maybe I should ask if that guy who has come to visit a couple times is her boyfriend? It's a bold question but I'm curious.

"Hey, is that guy that's come to visit you your boyfriend?" I ask nervously. Valeria laughs awkwardly and shakes her head. "No, he wishes, though." She sees that I'm confused and continues.

"Well, he's had a crush on me for a while now, and he's been trying to get me to go out with him, but I see him as nothing but a friend."

"Oh." She nods and looks down at the table, picking at her nails.

Bailey comes strolling in a couple minutes later, where we sat in silence. Jack was falling asleep again so we just let him sleep for now.

"Hey guys!" Valeria's face lights up once again upon hearing Bailey's voice, and responds. I smile at Bailey, and she smiles back, her dimples popping.

She glances at Jack, worried.

"He's just sleeping, we've been watching him." Realization washes over her face, and she nods. She sits next to Valeria, and they begin talking about whatever.

I just listen and stare at Valeria once again.

I feel my eyes get heavy all of a sudden, so I decide to check up on my family so I'm focused on that and don't fall asleep. We're going to be here for a while longer. I'll sleep when I get to my hotel room.

Next thing I know, I'm being shaken gently. I open my eyes and make eye contact with those brown eyes I haven't been able to get out of my mind.

I look around, and it's just us in here.

"Jim said we should go to our hotel rooms, nothing is working today." I nod and rub my eyes. "If you want, we can walk together?"

"Yeah sure." She smiles, and I feel myself not being able to hold back a smile.

We get the stuff we need from our trailers, walk out of the studio, and begin walking to the hotel.

"So tell me about you." Valeria says after a couple of minutes of silence between us. "Well, I'm from England, obviously, and I love films, acting, and music." Valeria nods.

"What are some of your favorite films?"

We talk about anything and everything the whole way to the hotel. I walk her up to her hotel room door since it's just a couple doors away from mine.

"Sleep well, Jamie, it's good to get at least eight hours or more." I nod and can't help but smile at her. She smiles too, waves, and says bye one last time before closing the door behind her.

This just made my crush on her even worse.
