After the humiliating thing that happened in the pool we stayed for another hour before going upstairs to shower. And now this is the fun part. I forgot that I had color shampoo and I am going to use this to get revenge on Jason.
But the thing is I need to distract him so I can put the shampoo there before he comes in the bathroom. And that's where Dean and Cade come in the plan. They are going to distract him while I make sure my plan succeeds.
"And why should we help you?" Dean asked me and was impatiently for my answer. Cade on the other hand looked like he was considering this. I knew he was the smart one in the family.
"Well, don't you want to enjoy seeing Jason losing his shit? I mean it would be amusing." I eyed both of them. "Nah, it's not enough. If you want us to help, you need to put some effort." Cade said looking at his phone like it was the most interesting thing here.
"Yeah, what he said. You have to give us something in order for us to help you." Dean looked at me and I was ready to glare at him but I refrained myself because I knew it would made things worse. "I'll do whatever you want just help me with this."
Dean and Cade shared a look and I seriously contemplated whether or not I should take back what I said but it was no point in it. I couldn't back down now. "Okay,we're in." They both said at the same. Creepy.
After I told them all about the plan, it was time to put it in motion. Dean and Cade made their way to Jason while I sneakily went to his bathroom. "Hey, Jason I want your help with something." I heard Dean say. "I don't have time for this." Jason brushed them off and silently cursed them.
I was ready to get out before Jason found me when Cade spoke. "Man, it'll take exactly five minutes. I swear. Then we won't bother you anymore for today." There was silence for quite a time before I heard Jason groan. That means he was convinced and I confirmed my thoughts when I heard footsteps going the other way.
Now that Jason is occupied, it is my chance to give him a taste of his own medicine. I quickly switched shampoos. I put the colouring shampoo in the one that Jason uses and quickly cleaned the place so he wouldn't be suspicious. Then I got out and texted Cade that everything was ready.
I went downstairs in the living room and waited for them to come. After some minutes they came with grins in their faces. "He didn't suspect a thing, right?" I asked. "No he didn't. And now that everything is done you need to keep your end of the deal." They gave me a creepy smile. I don't like this.
"Tomorrow we will let you know what we have planned for you. In the meantime you can enjoy the shitshow that is about to happen." Cade told me and together with Dean went to sit down on the sofa.
And just as he said that a very fuming half naked Jason walked in. "Serena! I'm going to kill you!" I laughed. I couldn't control myself. His green hair and angry face combination was so hilarious. Dean and Cade started laughing too. "Why are you little brats laughing? This isn't funny!"
We looked at each other and began laughing even more. "Well, it actually is. You have green hair dude. Of course it is funny." Dean laughed at his face. "Well, know dear brother you know not to mess with me." I winked at him. He glared at me and stormed off.
We all began laughing again and for a brief moment I remembered the old times when we used to prank the older brothers. It was always us three. A team. But people change so did I. We aren't those people we were two years ago and we definitely aren't fond of each other anymore.
They seemed to remember those times because their demeanour changed and now silence was all that was heard in the room. We stared at each other for a brief moment before I got up and went to my room.

"Come downstairs, dinner's ready." Nate let me know. I really wasn't looking forward to have dinner with them. It was so long since I had dinner with them. Usually I would take the food to my room so I didn't have to interact with them. But avoiding them has become so hard since mom and dad left. They ruined everything.
Everyone was seated in the table and the only chair available was the one near Eli and Chase. Great! As soon as I sat down Jason glared at me. I flipped him off secretly so Eli wouldn't see and that made him even more angry. I just smiled and broke eye contact with him.
The silence was loud in the room. The awkward one. I guess it's because of me. Well, I didn't blame them. It was so long since I was having dinner with all of them. Most of the time we didn't se each other for days.
"So did you have fun today?" Eli broke the silence. Cade, Dean and I shared a look before answering. "Yeah, we had lots of fun." The look on Jason's face was priceless, it made me smile even more.
Eli eyed us suspiciously before his attention shifted to Jason. "And you're sure you enjoyed the day and it didn't have to do with Jason's sudden green hair." Eli looked at me. "Well, that was a bonus but nonetheless it made my day." I said.
"Wait, you are the one who switched his shampoo?" Chase said enthusiastically. I nodded and he laughed. "She got you good man." And then the whole table started laughing. Jason was fuming even more.
"You little spawns don't laugh at me. We'll see when something like this happens to you and then we'll talk." He said angrily. "Okay, enough. We are here to bond nit fight with one another. Don't make fun of your older brother." Eli said to us. "Even if it was hilarious." He whispered looking at me.
I couldn't help but smile at him. I missed talking to him but I had to remind myself why I did it in the first place.
After we finished I decided to go to my room. Eli didn't protest surprisingly. Maybe it had to do with the tension radiating in the room or maybe he saw how exhausted I was, I don't know but I'm glad he didn't stop me. This day wasn't a total disaster and I actually had fun. Maybe living with them won't be that bad after all.
