"I told you not to do anything." I complained to all of them.

They looked at me as if I said the most foolish thing in the world.

"What did you expect us to do?" Cade said, clenching his jaw.

"Sit and do nothing?" Dean finished, doing the same exact thing as his twin.

"Yeah, that's exactly what I meant." I stated annoyed.
None of this would have happened if they just stayed put.

"Like fuck we would." I heard Nate's irritated voice. Surely, he was irritated by my statement.

"No one hurts our sister and gets away with it." Chase looked at me like this was common knowledge.

I sat angrily, not in the mood to argue with them anymore. The scene they caused was unnecessary and because of it we're sitting in a fucking police station.

You may wonder how did we end up here. Let me start from the beginning.

A few hours ago

"I'm going to kill him." Dean said with his hands fisted.

We had gone in a secluded area after Peter left. They kept demanding to tell them what happened.

Even if I didn't want to, I was forced to tell them. Because if I didn't, they wouldn't leave me alone.

So that's how I ended up here with four of my brothers, all having a murderous look in their eyes.

"You will not do such thing." I replied. "It's none of your business."

They scoffed at that.

"Of course it is our business." Chase said looking at me in disbelief. "You're our sister."

It is my turn to scoff now.

"Now you remembered you have one."

"Don't try putting the blame on us. It's not our fault you keep acting like a spoiled brat." Nate accused.

"Whose fault is it then? Because it surely isn't mine." I said slightly annoyed.

"Yeah, right." He scoffed.

I didn't talk back after that. I didn't have the energy to. This whole situation had wore me out.

I just wanted to go home. In my room. I didn't want to be here. Not after what had almost happened.

I just wanted to lay on my bed and act like everything was okay. I wanted to forget it all.

But they wouldn't. It was clear they wouldn't just go on with their life and forget what happened tonight.

Peter hurt a member of their family. They have this reputation to keep, that no one hurts their family and gets away with it.

It's not because they care about me. It's simply their male ego.

"I found him." Cade informed them. "He's in a cafe nearby."

"Okay, let's go."

They started walking to Nate's car. I ran after them.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!?" I yelled.

"He has to pay for what he did to you." Dean stated.

"I handled it, okay. You saw his bloodied lip." I tried to ease the situation.

They would get in trouble and I'm sure Eli and Jason would blame me if they ever found out about this.
