Gulping nervously, Cassie picked up the spoon and moved it to the bowl slowly. They both watched her intensely, sinister smiles on their faces as she did.
Something's definitely wrong.
She put it into the mess of Spaghetti, sauce and meatballs before raising it again.
They all looked at it as everything she had piled onto the spoon fell back into the bowl as she 'tried' to bring it to her mouth.
The brunette repeated the action a few times, stalling as best she could.
Well, she tried until someone slammed the table. Harshly, may she add.
Her head snapped up to the opposite side, seeing her mother glaring at her with such anger that she'd never seen in her life.
Over some pasta...
Jeez.
"Cassandra! This is not how you treat your mother. I have been through all this trouble to get you here with us tonight, and to make this meal, and you can't even stop being a spolit brat for one second to eat your food."
The trio sat in a tense silence for a minute, Cassie staring at the table with wide eyes.
Mary let out a deep sigh, calming herself down and putting on a bright smile.
