"What did you just say?" I cleaned my ear just so I could confirm I heard it right.

"You'll attend your classes starting today," Lalisa repeated her words.

"You woke me up at 6 in the morning to tell me that? Have you lost your mind? Do you have any idea how much danger I am in? If I step out of this apartment, I'm dead. D.E.A.D.
Dead. Do you hear me? I'm not going," I pulled the blanket over my head so she could let me have a peaceful sleep.

"So, you're going to never step out of this apartment?" Lisbitch questioned me.

"Of course," I replied without any hesitation.

"And you'll give up your studies too?" She asked.

"Life is more important than studies," I said.

"None of your reasons are valid. So, if you want to stay in this apartment, you'll have to follow my command," Lisbitch sounds so irritating in my ears that I wish I could turn on noise cancellation in my ears if that's possible.

"Chris will escort you to your friend's apartment later. From now on, your safety is none of my concern.

"How could you do this to me, you Lisbitch? Do you want to see me dead that badly, is that it?" I demanded.

"You're under protection 24/7, be it home or outside," she deadpanned.

"I won't go," I said in a final tone and went back to sleep.

"Chris, drop her off at her friend's apartment," Lisbitch said. Five minutes later, both my hands were grabbed and two bodyguards dragged me out of the bed.

"What do you think you're doing? Let go," I wiggled in their hold so they could let go. But their iron grip didn't loosen at all.

"Let me go, you bastards," I screamed at the top of my lungs. Of course, they won't follow my command.

I looked at Lisbitch with a pleading face. She, being the asshole she was, ignored my look without batting an eyelid.

As I was dragged to the elevator, panic settled in. If they pull off their protection, I'd be dead before today ends.

I have two choices now. Life or no life.

And I chose life. At any cost. And that cost just happens to be attending my classes.

"Fine, I'll go," I gave in. Lisbitch motioned for the guards to let me go. The guards followed her command and went back to guarding outside the elevator.

"I hope you have a good day in college," Lisbitch kissed my cheeks and smirked as she walked past

Such an irritating bitch!

I took a deep breath to calm my nerves.

"This is your class schedule. The guards already have it and they'll always be ready according to it. Get ready and eat your breakfast. The guards will inform you of the rest," Chris patted my hair and followed after Lisbitch.

"I wish I could strangle her to death with my hand," as I went to my room, I picked up the pillow and squeezed it tightly while imagining Lisbitch's neck.

How dare she play with my life for classes. I could always finish my studies after the threat is gone but what will I do if I lose my life? Will my ghost complete my studies in my place and then work, is that it?

I complained to myself for half an hour before I got ready for college. I stuffed my face with breakfast before the guard's escorted me to the car I'd be riding today. There were already four men seated in the car. The guard who escorted me here introduced me to the older-looking men as my bodyguards turned teachers.
