The group's hearts pounded with fear as they stood at the crossroads, unsure of which path to take. The mysterious footprints and the encounter with the unnaturally large foot had left them rattled, but they had no choice but to continue their search for Betty's missing parents. With no cell phone signal and no clear way out of the woods, they had to rely on each other.

As they split into two groups, the tension in the air was palpable. Betty's mind raced, trying to piece together the strange events of the night. She kept a tight grip on Nancy's hand as they followed the path through the densely veined trees. The forest felt like it was closing in on them, the shadows whispering secrets of the haunted woods.

However, as they walked, they began to notice that the eerie sounds and sinister signs were gradually diminishing. It was as if the woods had released its grip on them, allowing a sense of normalcy to return. The group started to relax, making jokes and chatting as they pushed forward.

As they continued for about half an hour, the trail they had been following suddenly vanished. Panic surged through them again, unsure of which direction to take. At the point of confusion, they discovered two small roads branching off in different directions.

Stan, Rio, and Eric led one group down the path with many trees, while Betty, Nancy, Gina, Elizabeth, and the younger siblings took the other route with the intertwining veins of trees. They hoped to meet on the other side, but as they walked, the woods seemed to play tricks on them. The path shifted, making them feel like they were walking in circles.

After some time, the woods began to clear, and a faint light glimmered ahead. Both groups rushed towards it, relieved to see the glimmering shores of the beach. The sound of waves crashing against the shore brought a moment of calmness to their spirits.

But their relief was short-lived when they noticed that Natasha was not with them. Panic surged through the group as they realized that she had fallen behind while searching for her glasses.Rio and Eric rushed back to find her, and as they reached the spot where the path had been blocked by coconut leaves, they frantically cleared the way. But to their horror, Natasha was nowhere to be found.

Back at the beach, the tension rose again as they waited anxiously for Rio and Eric to return. The sound of waves seemed to take on an eerie tone, and the flickering pole lights cast long, haunting shadows across the sand.Ben, Betty's younger brother, suddenly spoke up. "I know this beach. That island over there is where we used to have beach trips with the family. It's not far, and the ocean is shallow enough to wade through."

The idea of crossing over to the island for safety seemed like the best option. With a collective decision, the group began wading across the shallow waters, Betty and Nancy holding Bella's hands while Ben took the lead.

As they reached the island, the mood lightened a little, and they huddled close together around one of the pole lights. They couldn't shake the feeling that something malevolent lurked in the woods, but for now, they were grateful to have found a temporary refuge.Rio and Eric finally returned, hearts pounding with fear and guilt for leaving Natasha behind. They explained that they had combed the area, but she seemed to have disappeared into thin air.

Now, united on the island, they knew they couldn't stay there forever. They had to find a way out of the haunted woods, and they had to find Betty's parents. The night was far from over, and the darkness held more secrets than any of them could have imagined.Their only choice was to press forward, deeper into the heart of the enchanted woods, hoping that they would find the answers they sought and survive the horrors that awaited them.
