This book is about three teenagers with troubled lives finding light in one another. It's a fanfiction crossover of Stranger Things and The Goldfinch, starting in between seasons 3-4 of Stranger Things.
This book is from the viewpoint of Ivanna Azarov.
She's a 15 year old girl, born in Ukraine.
Her dad works mines, which means they move a lot. She spent her longest time in one place when she stayed in Russia for three years.
Her mom passed away when she was 5. She lives with her dad who is abusive. He mentally and emotionally manipulates her, as well as neglects her. He will leave her alone with no money and very little food for days on end, until he finally returns home, usually, drunk. On rare occasions, he will also be physically abusive, slapping or kicking her.
She hasn't really tried to make any friends since she left Russia, where she had two good friends, Mikhail Antonov and Igor Petrov.
She doesn't really plan to try to make friends in Lenora Hills, she just wants to get through it until they move somewhere colder again, as she's not a fan of heat.
And that is where our story starts, enjoy!

Just a disclaimer:
I have never read or watched The Goldfinch, so characters may not act appropriately. Please do not get angry over this, because this is your warning.
All translation is done using Google Translate, so if you speak Russian, and realize something is off, I apologize. The English translation can be found, bold in parenthesizes, next to what was said.
This is also my first time writing something like this, so it won't have the best writing, and will probably be really cringe.
Please do not hate or comment negative things. It's OK to be mad at a character or decision they made, but please don't hate on every little thing. You don't have to read this book, so please don't ruin it for others or be hateful in the comments.
I'm also doing this for fun, so yes I will be happy to take constructive criticism, but not rude, unhelpful comments such as: "You suck" or "This is terrible", because it won't change anything and is unhelpful.
