Addictive Medicine

I was found in the white.
White bed, white ceiling—
White everything.
It was dizzying.

I fell,
It was a nightmare.
I went to you,
To get a dose.

I took and took doses.
I went tipsy,
You drank me.
A bad treatment.

I craved for your substance,
Each in every day.
The dreadful medicine,
I kept wanting your drug.

You are a lifeline,
My cure to live a lifetime.
I am addictive,
I can’t help it.
‘Til I found dead.
