Barely Breathing
There were days I’ve felt the happiest.
I stood against the wind,
Announcing my superiority unmoved.
I looked up myself and felt all love,
All that I deserve in this euphoric land.
I fill my garden with all admiring features—
The breathtaking view to be seen.
Nothing in nature could break my smile.
I am the living testament,
That living is a powerful skill.
I’m floating with the limitless sky.
Yet, just some days feel unreal.
When I think I’m losing my optimism,
I was barely breathing the air.
All smell was the bitterness of regret.
Toxics slowly taking my breath away.
I barely survived the fall.
When I almost built a castle,
There slithered a sugarcoated promise,
The oath to live in dreamy land—
Was all Euphoric in my head.
Monsoon have passed a long time,
Yet rains on my eyes remain.
