It was one not quite so peaceful day in Mondstadt, with the trouble from Stormterror, or Dvalin. That day a stranger, whether friend or foe, set foot in Anemo territory.
Long dark blue-almost black hair fell down her back while aquamarine eyes eyed the wind-blessed region. She had a short white and indigo kimono-style outfit, except it was split into a shirt and pants. A cryo vision dangled from her waist.
This girl was no stranger to Mondstadt.
Instead of the city, she was headed to the outskirts of Springvale. As she walked, a Hilichurl encampment lay in her way. She could see arrows flying all over the place.
"Nacht!" She yelled, dodging a fully charged Hydro arrow.
"Give me a sec, Kiyo. Where's Kazemari?" The owner of those arrows was Nacht, an antisocial resident of Springvale.
Nacht had neck-length black hair and dark purple eyes. He had a white cats R cute' T-shirt covered by a black hoodie and tan brown military-pattern trousers. If one looked carefully they'd be able to spot his Hydro vision on the back of his shoulder.
Kiyo summoned her spear, Final Storm, which was specially designed by a friend, and joined the fight. Hilichurls were no trouble for the seasoned warrior, and imbued her weapon with cryo. Hydro arrows and cryo spear strikes easily finished off the masked monsters.
"Kaze's headed to Mondstadt." Kiyo replied simply, her spear vanishing with a swipe of her hand.
"Okay."
Of the friend group, Kiyo was the quiet one amd Nacht was the nerd. Both were more silent so the air was silent as they headed to Mondstadt.
"Kiyo! Nacht!" The energetic friend, Kazemari, shouted from a distance.
Kazemari had shoulder-length platinum blonde hair tied into a ponytail, with an Anemo vision in her hair tie. Her crystal blue eyes were filled with excitement as she waved. The girl donned a cramy white turtleneck shirt with sky blue trousers and long white stockings. She was quite pretty at first glance but sometimes a person who acted like she lived on caffeine can get a bit... annoying.
"Hey, Kaze." Nacht waved as he approached, "You asked me last time how I made Sweet Madame without sweet flowers, so I wrote an essay about it..."
Oh no.
"Ahaha... no need!" Kaze blurted and flailed her arms. Whether Nacht realized it or not, he surprisingly talked too much when rambling. Apparently, he had an entire room in his house filled with the many essays, tutorials, and novels he wrote across the years. He replied with a frown and an "Oh."
"Is Veerta here yet?" Kiyo, who had been mostly silent, asked."
"Hmm... Acting Grand Master Jean isn't here but Miss Lisa promised to tell her. I didn't have time to ask cuz I saw you guys." Kazemari replied after a moment of thought.
The three made their way to Mondstadt. A brown-haired boy yelled at them when they scared the bridge pigeons away but Kiyo and Nacht ignored him. Kazemari smiled at the boy but ignored him as well.
"Kiyo! Kazemari! If you have a moment?" The black-haired puppet known as Katheryne called from the counter of the famed Adventurers' Guild counter.
Nacht, being a non-adventurer, stayed behind and took a seat at Good Hunter. Meanwhile, Kiyo and Kaze headed to the Adventurers' Guild.
"Ad astra abyssoque and back to Mondstadt! You haven't been here in a while." Katheryne greeted, "I have some commissions should you ever want one."
"Thank you, Katheryne! We have to go for now." Kaze replied with a smile. Katheryne nodded as the two walked off.
"Nacht!" Kaze called as they passed Good Hunter, "We're going."
"I haven't finished my food yet." The black-haired archer scowled, stabbing his fork into the Sweet Madame in front of him.
"Kaze, let's go for now." Kiyo said, before turning to Nacht, "We're going to our Mondstadt home."
Kiyo and Kaze stocked up on some food and materials and left the city of Freedom. A few minutes of walking later, the two arrived at a building about the size of the Dawn Winery. However, it was a residence rather than a store.
Kiyo unlocked the wooden door with a silver key from her pocket. Inside was a wide living room with a nice dark ok table covered with a white tablecloth. 5 chairs lay around it and a kitchen stood behind the table. On both sides of the room were couches and shelves of random- really random stuff. A hallway stood on both sides of the room.
"I'm going to my room, bye Kiyo." Kaze waved, heading down the hallway.
"Sure but just saying again, you didn't even pay for this house." Kiyo shouted down the hallway.
"I payed one Mora!" Kazemari yelled back. The click of a door stopped Kiyo from speaking any more.
Sighing, the blue-haired girl walked past her friend's rooms to the end of the hall, where she could find her own room. It had the house's signature light colored wooden door and it had a huge list of rules stuck on it.
Kiyo opened the door and shut it as she entered.
Her room was average sized and had a single-person bed with white sheets and a blue-and-black blanket in the corner. On the other side of the room was a huge bookshelf taking up the entirety of the wall. A small desk with a lamp lay beside her bed and a wardrobe stood directly facing the door at the back of the room.
Once Kiyo walked in, one could notice the bulletin board beside the door. It had several posters of Genius Invocation TCG, books, and food.
The girl opened her wardrobe and changed into a black T-shirt with a white outline chibi style character and indigo trousers. The girl didn't bother to change out of her white and azure sneakers, though.
Warm sunlight spilled into her room, making her white wallpaper shine. The sun was falling by now and clouds were slowly covering the evening sun. Kiyo sat down on her bed with a sigh.
Sadly, the serenity didn't last for long. The front door clicked but Kiyo didn't bother to check.
A moment later, she could hear Kazemari's shouting.
"Kiyo! Kiyo! Veerta is here!"
It seems the gang is all here now. How two Inazumans, a Mondstadter and a Sumerian met was another story.
For now, the girl from Inazuma had a dragon, an Archon and an otherwordly traveller to meet the next day.
