"What the fu-"

"Stop, Leixin." Veerta scolded, "Findinng out what happened to your god is more important than the play."

The Qixing member scoffed from his special spot at the head of the crowd. Meanwhile, the Tianquan Ningguang quickly issued commands while shooting confused looks towards the corpse of Rex Lapis.

"Secure the area! Capture all suspicious culprits!" She yelled. Millelith guards questioned all the audience before sending them off. Unfortunately, their eyes landed on the foreign four.

"They're with me!" Leixin shouted to the guards. Quickly nodding, they rushed off without another word.

"Wait!" Kaze called as the gang prepared to leave, "Where's Lumine?"

In the frenzy, they couldn't see the familiar blonde and white hair in the crowd.

"Ningguang's callinng for me- shut up! Stop yelling! Go find her, you idio-" The green-haired Qixing ordered in between Kazemari and Veerta's panicked shouts. He broke off when Kiyo herded her friends towards the exit, where the traveller most likely is.

"What do we do? Lumine probably looks like a prime suspect lookin' a foreign and all! Look how those guards tried to catch us!" Veerta muttered panickedly. (is that a word?)

"Elemental Sight." Nacht suggested, looking around carefully, "I could see Geo and traces of Anemo on her."

Kiyo's eyes flicked towards the left. Without saying anything, she ran and hopped right down the edge of the stairs into the sturdy branch of a tree. She didn't even notice knocking a ginger waiting for a dramatic entrance right off the tree.

(A/N: childe is cool but I wanna bully him)

There was Lumine, duelling it out with a mob of guards.

And the  Kiyo noticed someone plunginng out of the tree she was in. Said person decided to draw his bow and do a midair flip, easily knocking out the guards and giving himself a faceplant into the stony ground.

"Um, are you okay?" Lumine asked after Paimon confirmed the area was free of guards.

"Yep."

Kiyo called for her other companions and hopped out of the tree, pointing her weapon at the newcomer, "State your name."

"Relax, I'm no threat." He replied, "I'm Childe."

"...child. Okay, now what do you want?" Kiyo continued, making sure to keep an eye on her surroundings as well.

"Well, let's all get out of here first."

"Hey Kiyo, wait up!" Kazemari whisper-yelled as she, Nacht, and Veerta finally climbed the stairs to the Northland Bank.

Nacht shot a glance at his fellow Hydro bow user and then their location, "The Northland Bank... are you from the Fatui?"

Lumine instantly got into battle position and drew her weapon. Paimon bravely flew behind her and hid.

"Woah, the other Harbringers might've given you the wrong idea. I'm here to help." 'Childe' quickly waved his hands in from of himself. Paimon shot him a dubious look.

"Well, I did what I was supposed to." Kiyo shrugged, "I'm not hanging out around anyone from the Fatui."

Aaand she was gone.

"Kiyo can handle herself." Kazemari assured Lumine. Said traveller turned towards Childe, "Anyways, what can you offer us?"

Kiyo had one thought in mind- 'I know what's going on now.'

It didn't have anything to do with the tall Fatui Harbringer she just left behind, but frankly, the tall-ness gave her an idea.

Her feet brought her to her destination.

"Fuyuhana Kiyo, I where is Hu Tao?" The blue-haired girl questioned a random guy just standing around like the NPC he was.

"Wuwang Hill... why?" He asked.

"Private matters." Kiyo quickly rushed off, determined on fixing the problem, finishing the Tianxuan's play, and getting her newest project done.

"Pigeon!" Kiyo shouted as she ran towards Wuwang Hill so see her semi-acquaintance Hu Tao. Since the blue-haired girl had plenty of spare time when not reading or out gathering materials, the girl killed time by fiddling with small projects on ruin machines. The 'Pigeon' (literally pronounced pig-eon) was a duo of small airborne ruin guards who she called upon for quick transportation.

Thankfully, the Pigeon was nearby and soon two silhouettes appeared in the distance, quickly flying towards Kiyo. Used to this method of transport, Kiyo jumped slightly and caught onto the handles of her two ruin guards.

She found Hu Tao wrestling with a ghost.

"Hu Tao." She called. The brown haired girl finally stuffed the ghost into nothingness and casually turned around, as if nothing happened, "Oh, hey, Kiyo, right? Wassup?"

"Rex Lapis died. Not important. More importantly-"

"Rex Lapis died?!" The director blinked slowly, "Uh-huh, I'll remember that... anything else?"

"Where is your consultant?" Kiyo questioned. Hu Tao took her time thinking, then replied with a cheerful, "I dunno!"

Kiyo sighed. She gave a curt goodbye before grabbing onto the Pigeon and taking flight again.

She finally found her target casually walking towards Liuli Pavilion. The girl landed on a roof and hopped down, deploying her Dragonspine local Wind Glider she got as a souvenir.

"Is there something you need, young lady?" The brown-haired man asked, as if its entirely normal to see blue-haired cryo vision holders jumping down from roofs.

"You're name is Zhongli, of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, correct?" Kiyo questioned. Zhongli nodded. "That's me. I have a meeting with an acquaintance to attend to, so please hurry with any business. For details about the Funeral Parlor, look for Hu Tao."

"Actually, I have a question." Kiyo observed the odd man's every move.

"Rex Lapis isn't dead, is he?"
