nicknames. rory. just a simple,
shortened version of her real name.
arie. another way to shorten her
name, though less commonly
used. mostly used by her older
brothers and cousins.
age. eighteen and four months
gender. cisgender female
year. seventh year ( finally )

personality. you'd expect a
praesumptor to have a less...
likeable personality. Aurora
breaks the stereotype of
what praesumptors are
supposed to act like- she's
confident, yes, but brooding,
cold and evil are out of the
question. she's not intimidating
in the sense that she looks like
she could kill you, but more in
the sense of she seems too...
perfect to be real. Aurora is a fun
lover, having handed everything
in life with a silver spoon, she
often does many things that she
isn't supposed to. the recklessly
brave part of her definitely is one
of the reasons why she is a Gryffindor.
this makes her a little unserious
when it comes to serious topics,
with one of her life quotes being
'Loosen up, buttercup,' a play
on the more traditional 'toughen
up, buttercup.' this can become
a bit of a problem  for others,
as they may find her unserious
attitude annoying or disrespectful.
however, she is very sociable,
and has no problem in making
friends, which makes her a quite
well known figure at Hogwarts. she'll
often start up conversation with
strangers, and always manages
to make a good impression. her
way with words is astonishing,
and there's a quality that just
draws you into her when she speaks.
this makes her a good public
speaker, manipulator and liar.
she's also very, very flirtatious,
and finds fun and fulfilment in it.
Aurora will never, ever back down
from a dare or challenge, which
can obviously get her into some
sticky situations. she's often smiling,
and portrays herself as a kind,
self-confident and caring person.

backstory. Aurora grew up
in a very upper class society.
She's been to it all, balls,
charity galas, praesumptor
meetings, and has never
thought much of it. she knows
most haven't experienced
what she's experienced, but
sometimes unconsciously
forgets. Aurora is the middle
child of five siblings, and
she unfortunately had no
sisters. due to this, she did
get some favouritism from
her parents and extended
family, as she was the only
female grandchild in the
family as well. Aurora comes
from a long line of praesumptors,
though, her family has always
been avid funders of the
so called organisation rather
than part of the practical side.
it makes them feared, but also
envied in the organisation, and
some even claim they were
cowards for never actually doing
the dirty work. you'd think
she'd have a more troubled
childhood for someone
who grew up with a family
that devoted their life to
hating a certain type of
people, but surprisingly,
her childhood was fairly
good. she was quite sheltered
all her life, and her family kept
her out of the praesumptor
society for as long as they
could. yes, her parents were
away at work a lot, but
her brothers always made time
to include her, and she has
a healthy relationship
with her siblings and most
of her cousins.

house. gryffindor suprisingly
to some, though in her opinion,
she fits quite well into the house
wand. chestnut wood, dragon
heartstring, 10 inches, unyielding
pets. she owns a very fluffy
white cat by the name of dog.
yep, she's one of those people.
'Dog' brings her dead mice
occasionally, and she hopes
every time that it wasn't
someone's beloved pet.
other. Aurora is afraid of
flying, but does find interest
in watching other people play
quidditch. her earliest childhood
memories are of her sitting on the
deck while her brothers threw
around a quaffle. she's often said
to have a bit of a childish personality,
probably stemming from her
past of being babied. she's always
had an interest in Herbology, and
you'll see her often around the
greenhouse with a notebook in
hand. she doesn't really have
an opinion on the praesumptors,
it's kind of been a part of her
whole life, so, she finds it as normal
as just having cereal for breakfast
aurora is known for her legendary
parties, and has never been caught
once hosting them. she's very
interested in the tri wizard
tournament, most likely because
of all the foreign people it brings..
