15 February, 1943, 1 year after the surrender
Singapore hears the door to his cell open, and recoils as the pale light from the hallway floods into his chamber.
Imperial stands in the doorway. She tells him to come, and he obeys, knowing by this point that resistance will only prolong his suffering. He stands weakly and gazes at her.
"Come along. Now." She leads the young nation down the familiar dark hallway, passing by rooms full of ghastly experiments and terrible concoctions, but he knows where the're going. The're going to the testing room. She ushers Singapore into the small room while a few other soldiers lock the cuffs around his wrists and ankles, the cuffs are linked to chains attached to the wall, he knows there's no way for him to escape. On one side of the room is small recorder atop a silver tripod and a tape recorder sits on the counter next to it.
