It has only been a couple of days since I reunited with the team. As much as I want things to be the same as it once was, there is no denying that to them I came back from the dead. It's like an open wound healing. It leaves a scar. Eventually it may fade away, but sometimes it stays. Even so, the memory will always exist.

Both me and Steve didn't have to go into the office until after lunch, so we decided to do some chores, which didn't really take that long, and then we threw on a movie.

We almost made it to half way before Steve got a call from Chin at HQ.

"What's up, Chin?" Steve spoke into his phone, the track song "Test Drive" playing in the background.

I watched as Steve's face went from a relaxed expression to a more serious one. We all know what this means...

After ending the call, Steve looked at me, "Guess this movie will be cut short. We got a new case."

Walking in to HQ, both me and Steve were immediately told what the case was about.

Apparently from what we know so far, the boyfriend of a young woman, who is the daughter of a well-known banker, was kidnapped. Supposedly, the daughter was the main target, but the kidnappers were too desperate that they just took, literally, what they could get their hands on.

"I'm guessing that because the daughter was the original target, they are trying to get ransom money from the father," Tani stated.

"But wouldn't the boyfriend be useless if they're trying to get money from the banker?" Adam asked.

"He must mean something to the banker or at least the banker's daughter if the father is willing enough to pay ransom," Grover answered.

"Can we please have names for these people?" Danny asked. "I'm tired of hearing: 'Banker, Banker's daughter, Banker's daughter's boyfriend', so on so forth."

"I agree," I commented. "If I don't get a name, I'm gonna start calling them 'Thing one, Thing two, and Thing three'"

"Father is George Scott, daughter is Georgia Scott, and the boyfriend is Scottlan George," Chin answered.

"Ok, so basically thing one, thing two, and thing three," I concluded.

Steve just looked down smiling, nodding his head.
