The waning gibbous phase refers to the lunar phase when the illuminated portion of the Moon is gradually decreasing, moving towards the last quarter phase. In terms of magical significance, the waning gibbous phase is often associated with releasing, letting go, and banishing energies.

During this phase, magic practitioners may work with spells and rituals focused on shedding unwanted influences, breaking bad habits, releasing negative emotions, and removing obstacles from their lives. It is a time for introspection, reflection, and seeking closure. The waning gibbous phase is believed to amplify the power of spells related to endings, completion, and transformation.

Harry is sitting in front of his vanity in his room, wearing the black and emerald dress robes chosen specifically for him. He stares blankly at the reflection in the mirror, not recognizing the man he sees.

Why is he doing this?

Is this how his story ends?

Nagini slithers in, coiling around his ankles. [Little One] Her head rests softly on his knees. [If I had human eyes, I would say you are beautiful]

Harry smiles wanly at her comment.

Nagini's tongue brushes her cheek. [Why do I smell fresh tears? Is this not a day to be celebrated? Master and you will be one, yes?]

Harry's lips press together, his head bowed.

A soft hiss. [Tell Nagini, what makes little human sad?]

[Oh Nagini] Harry laments, how can he make her choose? She is loyal to her master. What can he tell her to make her understand?

[Nagini, what do you know of love?]

Voldemort POV:

The air in the dimly lit room was tense with the palpable rage emanating from Voldemort. His red eyes were flashing with fury as he watched the scene unfolding via the magic of the golden thread in front of him.

He has obsessively kept watch of Tom's future, variations of what is to happen change-meddling children, he sneers-, it is useless, the ending is the same.

He watched as Harry leaned closer to Tom, their faces almost touching, and felt a burning hatred boil up inside of him.

This is the last time.

Night of Spring Equinox

Hogwarts

Tom POV:

He's been told he was paranoid before, but years of enduring threats to his survival do not go away overnight.

Tom stared out the window, the fireworks still blast in the air with a ten-minute gap between them. His voice reverberated through the night, their message, on repeat.

Although Tom gave Hermione a poor excuse of 'sleeping in early', the night was still too young for him to do that.

In his room (for the umpteenth time, Tom was grateful for the privacy this year), he was currently unbuttoning his day robes, when suddenly--

A flash of bright light. The air rippled with magic. Tom turned around quickly. The light dissipated, and a figure emerged, clad in a striking black and emerald dressing robe. Emerging out of thin air like a dream, a conjuration of his imagination.

It was Harry.

Standing before him, a mix of emotions that mirrored his own. His hair was different, slicked back and constrained. Streaks of sheen glitter over his cheeks, his eyes.
