"Hi, my name is Jarvis, Jarvis Cole...Coleman."

"Hi, my name is Jarvis Coleman and I need a ticket to New-York."

"Hi....Jarvis Coleman."

Looking at herself in the mirror, an automatic, manufactured smile spread across her semi full lips.

"Okay...Okay...I got this. You got this Clo...you got this."

"Okay...let's go, let's do this," She muttered to herself, whilst taking one last look around the small, empty apartment.

With just a lone, black Adidas duffle strapped across her chest and a pair of keys in her manicured hands, she walked towards the front door, carefully opening and closing it behind her.

Making her way down the long hall and to the front desk seemed to take forever in her clouded mind, but the second she saw the familiar white woman, she suddenly grew anxious.

"Oh, hey Kennedy, how are ya?" her thick, western accent greeted warmly.

"Hey. Good," her soft voice replied with a slight head nod.

"Good, good...well, why you all dressed up incognito. Everything kosher?" the pale, raven haired, green eyed woman inquired next.

"Fine. Here."

Placing the keys atop the beige colored counter, the woman looked at the small framed woman in perplexity.

As long as she'd been residing in the apartments, she realized how she'd never truly seen the young womans full face. She was a very lonesome tenant. Never any guests and hardly ever left out.

"Oh." She was taken aback by her quiet tenants set of keys sitting on the counter.

"You've been good to me. Thank you."

"Oh...okay...Well be safe you here?"

She didn't reply, just continued her walk outside and into the early evening. The sun was just about to start setting and it was quiet out.

The Lyft driver was right on time, as she entered the white vehicle.

"Memphis International."

"Got it."

Her driver's accent was thick...like a middle eastern man.

The ride was a quiet one, with her looking around, taking in every bit of her surroundings. Once the drive was over, the driver was paid a nice tip in cash before she exited the vehicle.

Upon entering the crowded airport, she kept her beige Nike hat low while maneuvering through the crowd.

Reaching her desired destination, she began to memorize her lines.

"Hi. Welcome to Memphis International-."

"I need a ticket please, for the next flight out to New-York," she cut the white woman off, who looked at her with haste.

"Okay...let's see here..." The woman trailed.

"It would be so great if I could get it now, before the next plane leaves," she said quickly turning around.

The woman looked back at the suspicious buyer, given she kept diverting her eyes, not really making contact.

"Okay. Here you are, you're all set."

"Thanks."

Taking the ticket and making the way towards her destination, she readjusted her hat, which sat atop a low cut bed of curls. She went for her phone next, checking the time.

7:48 P.M.

Taking a deep breath, she began to dial the number she had saved. Several seconds later, the other end picked up, as she closed her eyes before parting her lips to speak.

"Hi, this is Jarvis Coleman. I'm just calling to let you know that I'll be moving in a few days early."
